Such beautiful angelic voices. I wish i would have been serious about religious life when i was a teen, i could have avoided all the terrible things ive gone through, still go through in life.im prolly too old now to join an order..im 44 yrs old now
@thecolaratlady I'd love to devote my life to God, His son Jesus Christ. Such a beautiful thing to become a nun, some nuns serving our Lord for 50-60 yrs God Bless Them all young and old who heeded the call to serve Our Lord.
@LHORENCE Hey, it's called 'Take my life and let it be' however this version is very very difficult to come across, I found one, on the organ...type in "Mumbles Methodist Church Swansea "Take My Life And Let It Be" it's a Catholic hymn however the Methodists seem to like it too..
in Isaiah(42:1) 1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
So there is no more obvious statement than this one. As God has clarified this truth that he is a slave of God and God has placed his spirit on him to support him like the other prophets.
Actually I think its more likely a hymn at Holy Mass, which is when hymns like that are more usually sung, especially with guests. Compline is more private, Latin, psalms, dimmed light etc.
