I have tried Ziphone to jailbreak 1.1.3 on my iPod touch and I received this error:BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0... I accepted that it did not jailbreak, but now I can not even restore back to 1.1.3 by itself. I am just stuck on the terminal where it keeps on repeating this message. When I try to hold down the home button when it boots, it does not go into recovery mode. It just goes back to the same screen with that error. Please help...

Yah i kept getting the BSD error forever until i tried it this way, which just seemed to make it work.

I had the BSD spamming problem too. I unplugged my ipod from the computer then held down the power and menu buttons until the ipod turned off...then I continued holding down the buttons until it turned back on. It showed the Apple at first, then changed to the plug/cd thing. When that happened everything was fine and I had Installer. This was done on a 16Gb iTouch.

then press the sleep button and the home button simultaneously and wait for the apple logo apppears, keeep pressing both buttons like 30 seconds and wait for the itunes logo and the connect ipod logo appear and press restore it will donwload the fimrware and reset your ipod... if you are downloading and you ipod turns off turn it on how i said again and the restore package do everything

Hey, thanks for helping. I kept getting the BSD root: error no matter what I did!

But this finally made it work, no problem!

I think the problem was where i installed ziphone to. But, what ever, works now!
