  • those are orandas not lionheads

  • amazing looking fish, but that's an oranda. when i got my first oranda and didn't know much about goldfish, i thought i was a lionhead, too!

  • Yup agree those are oranda's it took me four years to find lionheads from a good breeder, now liven out their life in a pond.

  • What are the fast black and the pink pearl fish called?

  • i have an lionhead goldfish it has one eye!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • have you got those in warm water? keeping them in warm water will shorten their life span...they are "cold" water fish....not tropical...

  • Sorry to break it to ya, but thats and Orands goldfish, lionheads don't have dorsalfins.

  • agree. lionheads are much harder to find

  • yes that is an oranda, actually lionheads are as easy to find as oranda, Ranchu is hard tho :)

  • Can some one please tell me if all lion heads have raspberry like growths on their head. I bought two today, neither have the growths? but they are lion heads.

    Cheers

  • It can take up to 3 years after birth for the things on there head to grow, so yours are still young. =)

  • Nice!

  • thanks

  • That's not a Lionhead Goldfish. It's a Red Oranda Goldfish. I still like the big guy!!! CUTE!!!!!!!

  • Lionheads don't have a dorsal fin mate. That looks like an Oranda with a non-standard wen. very nice all the same but not a lionhead :)

  • i want them! best fish eva
