Yes, how fast you go is what matters. They call it RACING. Straight line speed may not be the only thing, but to float the idea that going fast isn't what it's about is just dumb.

Most competitive? Pfft. Its certainly less expensive, but less competitive? Modified is often run-what-ya-brung. If you can't run with the big-dogs....stay on the porch.

7700 is what you usually see in touring cars, are u gonna race where they have rules? u might have to get a sensored setup if so.

oh cool, look around on youtube, probably find alot of MM 7700kv touring cars, like tc3's tc4's tc5's. u can see how they run, i know of one tc4 that somehow has a 5cell lipo on a MM 7700 and does 126mph.

i just put a mamba max 5700 in my slash and it gets the job done, i dont think i want it going any faster than that. oh yea and i love pluging the esc into my computer to set it up just the way i want it. its freaking sweet!

disabled the punch control, castle creations is badass man, check out some of tractorkid7's rustler vids, he runs a sidewinder sport esc and a vxl motor and wheelies his rustler all day on 6 cells

never heard of ec3 plugs, yeah u can use 13 gauge its smaller than 12, the lower # the guage the bigger the wire.

seems as fast as the rc10gt2, yeah that was silly with all the upsidedown sliding, oh man, this was on probably year old 6 cell nimh packs, cant imagine om 3s lipo, or even a 7 cell flatpack 8.4 volt nimh i could run for now. and i need to use the software that came with it too still.
