You're bound to get loads more crap movies full of explosions, plastic surgery freakshows, & plot-less nonsense (& you do). However, there are just as many incredible American movies as Brit: There Will Be Blood, No Country for Old Men, Crash, Assassination of Jesse James, Inglourious Basterds, The Hurt Locker, Frost/Nixon, Milk, Chicago.
