  • Needs bass :)

  • This is an early recording done before the 1968 master (that was rehashed with orchestra and choir by Phil Spector for release on Let It Be). The song was being considered to go on a single with Lennon's "Hey Bulldog" and Harrison's "The Inner Light" (but McCartney's "Lady Madonna" went on instead). They basically didn't know what to do with the song and shelved it until Phil Spector butchered it. This was an experiment, and I think it's the best version by far.

  • Don't know where it came from but it's been my favorite version of my favorite Beatles song since it mysteriously appeared in my hard drive. It'd be interesting if it's not legitimate.

Also, people, this NOT the anthology 2, naked or past masters (wildlife) version. All these sound nothing alike (some are sped up/altered key signatures. dubbed, etc) so it's really hard to tell where it came from. Trying to know for sure where this came from has always been a mystery for me :/

  • No, i think its the wildlife version but whit the birds took off... But maybe the let it be naked version too...

  • This is the version from Let It Be Naked, If I'm correct.

  • Que rola tan chingona

  • @Vjean567 my goodness. shut the fuck up ! right?

  • The basic track is the version from the WWF record 'No one's gonna change our world', And then there's the intro ,'Great Richie', and all the backwards stuff I don't know why you put on, cause if it's a bootleg you've been really fooled.

  • this version is in the rarities cd i have it :)

  • Nothings gonna change Johns world, but he certainly changed ours!

  • @Vjean567 Uhh, he's saying it's a good song.

  • visionery

  • maybe the gods have gods

  • @Vjean567 I think that "GamerErman2001" likes this song... who wouldn't... I know you do. What a special song from a special band. Life is good... lol... hahahahahhah

  • nothings gonna change my world..... yeah that was an understatement... cause nothing YOKO .. changed their world forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @GamerErman2001 your simply STUPID

  • Stunning! Absolutely!! Without that annoying pigeon flapping sound.

  • That's Yoko singing backing vocals during the choruses. Sadly, that instantly degrades a wonderul song. Like nails on a freakin' chalkboard. No wonder this version didn't make it on the original album.

  • @klopek007

I totally agree. It's like she inhaled helium before trying to sing. I am SO glad they got rid of her singing in the final cut.

  • This is the stereo remastered version

  • Is this a fake or is it by the Beatles themselves?

If it's real where is this version from??

    Very nice anyway.

  • @GarmaProject

It could be an anthology..but i'm not sure...

  • @MrAndrewjs Ok thanks... if anyone has more info plz tell :)

  • @MrAndrewjs The Beatles (British) did this on their own music without any help from any Musicians & Song Writers. The Monkees (American Beatles) had help from other Song Writers & Musicians. Who is better?

  • @papo1957

Are youi being patronizing?? Or just stupid?

  • this is just the same as the original but with some reversed guitar over the top, why is everyone jizzing over it?

  • they actually tried to communicate with other life forms by blasting this song into space via satellite transmitters. its a beatiful song and it inspired many to follow.

  • Ringo's eyes are crazy! Look at them, they're like oceans of crazyness!

  • Oh my god! I love the fucking Beatles!

  • paull and jonh OMG

  • nothng gona change my world :) :)

  • What if I day I want a revolution? ;)

  • i liked their early stuff better before they started getting all trippy hippy and major LSD and stuff.

  • @yourgirlll the old stuff was more energetic and rockish i guess, but their psychedelic stuff speaks of the enlightenment they received from LSD

  • Aside from the fact that the Beatles only used LSD between Revolver and Pepper's and all but John had sworn off drugs all together by the time they went to India to visit the Maharishi. This song was recorded during the White Album sessions, where only marijuana was being used. Think of most of the most famous stuff from the latter half of their career- Revolution, Hey Jude, Let it Be, Blackbird, Come Together, Here Comes the Sun etc. Yes, that all reeks of acid doesn't it?

  • LSD was not the source of their psychedelic influence. Know the difference between correlation and causality, thank you.

  • the mind is the true source.. !!

  • You can't really make a bad recording of this song. It always sounds great.

  • Wow. The studio effects kind of remind me of Tomorrow Never Knows. Awesome version of this. Much better than the "wall of sound" version off Let it Be. I still like the raw John-and-his-guitar version best though.

  • when i first heard this i wanted to cry it was so good

  • i didnt know what it was like to cry over music until the beatles entered my life... the first time i heard many of their songs, i started sobbing. love them so much...

    R.I.P. john and george

  • @Thursday196 oh i've been studying the beatles: the subject i really wanna know is the paul stuff

  • @Thursday196 SAME HERE!! AH I LOVE THEM!

  • @BeatlEPMJo I do too :) Its rather hard not to...

  • I think it's my favorite version of my favorite Beatles song.

    let it be naked, indeed

  • are you stupid kick-ass is like an awesome compliment

  • WOW!!!! Turn me on Dead Man.....

  • shut up man

that creeps me up real bad

  • love that sitar

  • no sitar that's backwords guitar

  • Yep.

  • love this song so much thnx

  • i love this version, very trippy, (u shud also check out the acoustic version)

  • kick-ass means awesome...not bad

  • was this remixed after they broke up or was it a mix done at the time?

  • it was an alternate take while they were recording,

  • Actually this version was recorded after the master take you find at Let it Be Albums (Naked and the 1970 one)... This version was even better... I wonder why they didn't include it as the official song...

  • They ran outside and asked a couple girls (of the many the Apple Scruffs) to come in and sing the high parts, then thanked them, and let them out. This was an oldie by the time it was included in the "Break Up Movie" Let It Be.

  • wow nice, its the first time that I listen this version !

  • this is the version I have, I consider it the best. It should've been on Let It Be.

  • Dude, I meant kick-ass as a compliment. Their music is very good. Seriously, I'm somewhat of a fan of their music.

  • what a dope not knowing what you meant, lol

  • wow, another version... i love it anyway they play it!--bernadette...

  • great song

  • @VeeArrSix i agree
