Machida's backgound is Karate, Sumo, and Akido. Have fun coming up with a game plan for that. Most fighters take the "big four" martial arts: Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, Juijitsu. Machida has a completely different, and effective, background while also knowing the "big four" martial arts.
Machida's a nightmare to plan against.
