Is the head set out jack in stereo or mono? I seem to recall using one at field day a couple years ago and it was mono left year.
2 meter 144 to 146 most on 145.00 up. 70cms is UHF 430.0000 to 439 most used 433 up . You can get an RSGB BANDPLAN of the net
Thanks for the video!

Hey Barry
How do you find not having a keypad for manual freq entering?
Making large frequency jumps must be a pain surely?

Hello Matthew. I paid £550, now cost more. I still have the radio and works very well.
@barrym3oyi Thanks I was looking at it and it seems better then the Icom I was looking at and it was more expensive then this one. And also what kind of antenna are you using for the HF bands I was trying to get a portable antenna for it.
hope to get one of these rigs soon, very helpfull vid

Thanks for looking at my video, hope it helped you. I use a Watson W-300 2m/70cm base vertical, and for HF I use a long wire.

does this unit plug into the wall socket or would i need a power supply?
jmecrg 2 years ago
Hello jmecrg Yes you will need a External power supply. I use a 10-14 amp 13.8 Volts for 10 Watts. In the Operating manual it says 25 amp.
