This is real -.- My psp randomly turned off when i was playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, so i said "WHAT THE FUCK!!" and massacred my psp with my fist, and screwed up the LCD bad and it looks like that. I'm going to get the screen replaced for 90 dollars in about 5 or 6 days though.

I can honestly not think of any reason why that would happen, so you should buy a new screen.

I don't know, it might have overheated and screwed the LCD up. Leave it off and unplugged with the battery out for an hour at least, then if it's still like that, buy a new LCD screen.

it is probably not a problem with the lcd itself, the connectors to the lcd might of gotten loose fromchronically shaking it,open it up and see if ucanfigure out whats wrong

I got a similar problem to this, but with a Game Boy Advance SP. Ya see, I was finished battling in Pokemon Colloseum. But, suddenly, I wasn't paying attention, and I ANNIHILATED the LCD screen WITH MY RIGHT KNEE. It still works, but it's useless without a screen. And the GBA SP is a redesign of the best-selling handheld in the WORLD!!! And that is the GBA; 76 million total units sold.

Aw, that's so sad. You should buy a new screen online and put it in yourself. It's really not that tough, I replaced the whole motherboard on my old PSP. The screen is right on top of everything so you don't have to remove anything but the faceplate. Good luck.

Hey do you know you can downgrade you're PSP from version's all the way up to 3.03?

there's an crack made by N00bz that allows you to downgrade the PSP to 1.50 firmware and then you can run homebrew and install OE firmware.
