  • Nice heli minus the skids

  • Gaui is one company that stands by their word. When they say it's out by Feb 8, 2012, it was indeed out by then and with complete parts support. I don't get companies that release their helis with zero parts support. How the hell can you fly the sh*%t out of the heli when you know you'd be looking at a blank wall when it you need to buy parts for that dirt nap. Great job Gaui!

  • LOL at the top comment. Clearly kz4506 is seeing this thing flown by a champ and being pounded into submission and asks if it can sport fly.....uhh yaa...im pretty sure it can do a slow flip and roll. Guys like this need to stick with planks. I was blown away by this video and by the skill shown here. This is a 700 sized steroid injected machine that moves like a 450. I own a t500 efl now...but one day when Im ready will absolutely pay what ever it costs to get an x7 in the air. MAD SKILZZ

  • @RCAeromodeling "the best heli" is a subjective statement.. the Goblin is a very very nice machine but I assure you the X7 is more than competent..

  • hi nice heli but a shame its flown like this , limits the buyers , can it sport fly , is there a demo of good old sport flying

  • @kz4506 Personally I dont think there is anything shameful about the way the X7 flies, its a marvel of modern engineering. JC is a very talented pilot with many years of experience. His job is to show what the bird is capable of... if anything you should be assured that if he cant break it.. you wont... As for whether it sport flies.... yes, even a Ferrari has first gear...

  • @kz4506 how does this in any way "limit the buyers"?!?this is a gaui not an eflight blade msr. Im more than positive it can sport fly and do a slow flip and roll. Stick to planes...3d helis are for pushing the envelope...not for mailing it. derp

  • @kz4506 If a heli can do full blown 3D then it can sport fly.

Anyways, these models arn't aimed at the 'scale pilot' they are made for performance, and the best way to show of its performance is to push it to its limits, like he did.

    Great Pilot, Great Flying.

  • I'm really interested in how the new GAUI X7 will do in competition with as much R & D that's gone into this model. Excellent flying and mad props to the camera person!

  • I gotta win the lottery or something. That tailcase looks really sweet. Any plans for a belt drive system? I've never owned a torque tube heli, but I've heard they can be trouble.

  • @kavic5150 So far I only know the Goblin 700 with a belt system in anything bigger than 250.

  • Oh man. Screaming like a raptor doing work in the jungle killing baby trex es. Reehhaa aaaw jump jump reaaaa aaaw slice blood reehaaaaaaaa pounce bite kill. Tic tac and flip back now outta here. That's my type of Sunday park flying. Light up the park and keep everyone looking to the sky attack pending. I need this. Reeeahhaaaa

  • AWESOME!!! Can't wait. Bring on Feb 8th 2012 (public release).

Great vid.Terrific camerawork Steve and magic fling JC.
