Those random sound effects you hear throughout the base sound exactly like sound effects used in system shock 2. They both came out the same year though...
I think it's more the damage of the gun that's odd as it's the final ranged weapon, then the weapon itself that's out of place. The C&C world is already out of place, the shotgun is just being consistent really.
I always especially hated this level for its terrible context, but I had no idea it was a direct reference to a futuristic video game. That just makes it so much... worse. How terrible.
Well this is interesting, Copper Faces CABAL. I Suppose Copper will figure out soon CABAL is something else than a Deity, this is VERY interesting, I must say.
thing is, that Wizardry, Albion and Might & Magic are from the beginning based on a different Setting than Lands of Lore... and this is nothing more but cheap advertisment to buy C&C... and EAs way of telling us, which of the Westwood Series was the important one for them

Agreed. And besides, Cabal went rouge in TS:Firestorm couse GDI won, and since this is the future outcome of the NOD victory in Tiberian Sun, he's normal... sort of.

Boomstick doesn't trigger Death Blow... Noble Valkyrie Crossbow is superior, even if you dno't have Death Blow, IMO.

I'm reminded of the last level of Psychonauts.. the feel of Lands of Lore and Command & Conquer seem like they would be almost impossible to fuse.

Having played the C&C Tiberium Sun Addon Firestorm i find it very possible that CABAL wracked humanity in the first place.
Also i dont know why a world full of aliens or a hautend house are so much better than the world of C&C.
Its not unusual for a cameo appearance in movies so why not in a game?
