  • I have money but I don't know where to put in: Unicef or NK

  • I'm 15 I really want to help NK but what can I do?

  • They show this to me in school.

  • what a bunch reactionary imperialist bullshit

  • @RedMusicSinging Fuck you too

  • Comment removed

  • This is what that occupy wall street commies want in america.

  • seriously. something like this shouldnt get hate comments. just to know that you were lucky enough to be givin a life of freedom is lucky. these people try so hard to live: overcome starvation, disease, and the labor camps. so if your gonna hate please do it somewhere else. because personally, this suffering makes me go into tears. have some respect. and dont make jokes about koreans eating dogs. its a life or death situation. and most kids are traumatized after they realize. so stop and help.

  • You all are being so ignorant. No, we cannot go into the country and help them. What we can do is that we can go and help those who escaped into China. When they reach China, they are not automatically all better. They escaped with nothing. They can't take a ton of supplies out of Korea with them, and they didn't have supplies anyway. We help by donating money for supplies, food, water, and shelter for the people that escaped. We give them a sense of freedom. When they leave North Korea, they h

  • You said that mean Lenin was wrong

  • North Korea really is the worst of the worst. So bloody awful it makes China look liberal.

Every day im grateful I live in a democratic country

  • wow all the 37 dislikes are morons. they have no real heart. if they arnt tuched by this. i saw the "hiding" documentry at my school yessterday in idaho... and just..wow.. thats sad. loved it. so touching. it makes me want to becopme a nomad my self and tell more people about this and help the north korean people

  • I can't do what I want, it's often illegal to do so while it does not harm other people. Nor can I go where ever I want, there is little freedom of movement, especially for people of colour. There is no freedom for anyone. But North Koreans are especially fucked.

  • This video is great! I love it.<3 It's just the i's are bothering me...

  • this video is so nice (:, LET'S SHOW THE COMMIES LIBERTY!!!!

  • want to help out? follow us on tumblr @ gw-link we will be doing a giveaway as soon as we hit around 75+ followers!

  • North Korea will destroy itself. The guards mostly defect if possible, and they would not fight for their country. If the Korean war flared up, the troops would surrender immediately after crosing the DMZ. With the internet many citizens fake their faith to the dear leader and secretly long for freedom.

  • This seems like nothing more than US propaganda.... ok so, who wants to help out North Korea? Anybody? No?

  • comparing china to north korea is retarded. there is some freedom in china. you are alloud to own a mobile phone in china, you are alloud to surf the web in china. you are alloud to know about the rest of the world.

  • Comment removed

  • Kim jong-ill go to hell now!

  • I just have one question about the video,

    what song is this?

  • What a retarded video. There's nothing we can do for their people, because their government won't let us. The only thing we can do is an all out war, which would result in millions of lives lost. That's the only option we have to help them.

  • @mkailov13 First off, don't use the word "retarded", it only shows how much you know or care about the people around you. Second, there are things you could do. Just like the U.S. had underground railroads, there are organizations that do it as well for NK. Third, the NK crisis barely has any attention in the media, videos like this bring awareness so leave your hate out of here.

  • @mkailov13 Full out war against an unstable nation = terrible idea

  • @sxaxrxaxhhh

Why? It wouldn't last very long.

  • @mkailov13 That's not the point. N Korea doesn't abide by the global laws as the US does. Plus, waging war against N Korea means more lives lost + worse living conditions for the average citizen in North Korea.

  • @sxaxrxaxhhh

Yes, many N. Koreans lives would be lost, but how long will the world keep tolerating this totalitarian regime? Honestly, a war would save future generations from the same fate as the present generations have.

  • @mkailov13 You honestly think a war is going to save them.. War is going to affect the civillians first and the most. There are other ways to fight this.

  • @sxaxrxaxhhh

A war would save the future generations from having a megalomaniac as their ruler. And as for the other ways to fight North Korea, tell me about them.

  • @mkailov13 There would be no future generations- okay aside from the upper class/ kim jeong ill's favorites. Obviously the lower class would be forced to fight / give up food/ whatever, the war hurts the lower class the most. If China wanted to, they could totally steer N Korea from the conmmunism they already have to something like China's. I see your point in waging war, but it's totally unrealistic.

  • @sxaxrxaxhhh

Yeah, China is essentially North Korea's lifeblood. I think America and Israel have a similar relationship. Of course war is always the last resort, but China could definitely do that, they basically have Kim Jong Il by the balls.

  • @sxaxrxaxhhh

not necessarily. why can't Seal Team VI just assassinate Kim Jong Il, Kim Jong Eun and the most powerful, brutal people within the regime? if a war breaks out most of NK's army will mutiny or defect anyway, the KPA doesn't even give its soldiers proper rations. so it would be possible, with targeted assassinations of the KWP leadership to bring about regime change with minimal damage to infrastructure, no civilian deaths and few military clashes.

  • @TheTollundWoman Stupid idea... Why? First... The Got Nuclear Weapons ready to use. 2:nd, How the hell whould you get an Seal Team in Nkorea? You know that the border between Skorea and Nkorea is the most watch Border in the world, right? and the way from china? in the video the said they got Guards there... And airplane that drops them off is not an option either, since planes are loud and not often seen in Nkorea. Even if they got in with a plane, how whould they get out?? and find Kim Jong??

  • @filipedin

Pakistan has border guards too, and Bin Laden had highly trained bodyguards, how did Seal Team VI get him?

  • @sxaxrxaxhhh

a full-scale war would be a disaster for a country like NK which is already decimated by famine and communist atrocities. Assassinating the main figures in the regime, Kim Jong Il and his closest supporters, would disable the communist system as a whole. then US, SKorea and the UN could institute a modern-day Marshall plan, helping the country recover.

  • 27 party members have internet in north korea

  • what is the song?

  • but honestly, who is anyone to tell them what to do?

    what can we do anyways?

  • @justanotherchocoholi We can raise awareness about the condition of the people to the millions of people who have probably never even heard of North Korea. We can make donations to organizations who help refugees from North Korea reach other countries where they can actually live. If you look around, there are so many things you can do to help :)

  • Went to a Link Out Loud Concert today...this was there- I could not stop crying.....

  • You guys SPREAD THIS VIDEO AROUND PLEASE! RAISE AWARENESS FOR NORTH KOREANS!!

  • Great video.

  • this video deserves more views. but you know what there should be in north korea? CIVIL WAR

  • @damondeeee4 thats a bad idea. there SHOULDNT be war. cuz they'll lose easy. no communication, no anything. do you really think they're gonna last very long starting with nothing? maybe, but that would be an extremely small chance. but i see what you mean.

  • @damondeeee4 But if they had a civil war, the government would win. they're stronger and have more resources. So that'd just make things worse.

  • i dint know north was like this & Im mexican that loves k pop ssouth korean music & i was like why dont china nor north korean have no music it cuz they are commeit & they dont have freedom :(

  • america isnt bether

  • Uzbekistan, Burma, China, Yemen etc.... all bad...

North Korea- the worst of the worst

  • Sounds awesome! Know I'm just going to eat my free icecream that you stupid capitalists are missing out on... ... ... ?

  • some of the speakers of link came to my school today to talk about it! in a way i realize that if we could get alot of people to freedom than its a huge accomplishment and its one less person and on to save another in other countrys

  • @jawbreackersprinkles Those sponsors went to my sister school today also

  • @mazmardigan

Simple. Since you have mentioned that there were several cases of north Koreans contemplating an escape out of their nation, then I would like to SINCERELY question you. Why would they choose to leave even though they clearly know the consequences? Look at yourself, you have the FREEDOM to use the INTERNET. Skimming through your comments, I think you should get your ass to north korea and be a official citizen since you are so supportive on Kim Jong ll's regime. Internet? You don

  • ... You guys...

With all the arguing about the US and the UN, and what not...

I think you're missing the entire point of this video....

  • this looks like us propoganda...

  • @TheTollundWoman The real question is, how do you know this? You've heard everything about DPRK through USA press, you don't know ANYTHING about the DPRK.

  • @mazmardigan

I haven't heard *any* of this information through "the USA press", I've heard it through 1)the UN 2)Human Rights Watch 3)Amnesty International and 4)the testimonies of survivors such as Kang Chol-Hwan. NONE of this info. is even being mentioned in the american press, which only mentions NK in the context of "the nuclear issue"

  • @TheTollundWoman Everything you know is censored and manipulated by the USA, it's a fact. I've met two SOUTH Koreans exiled in Paris after being 4 and 2 years in prison just for their ideology, and believe me that most things people think they know about the DPRK are lies.

  • @mazmardigan

Hmmm... you met South Koreans who were "jailed for 4 and 2 years" for their ideology? They were jailed for only four years- and then ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY?? In North Korea leaving the country without permission is considered treason and people trying to go into "exile" are shot by border guards. and in NK, if you had an "ideology" that was hostile to the regime, you wouldn't be jailed or exiled- you'd be shot by a firing squad

  • @TheTollundWoman they were not allowed to leave the country, they just escaped. The DPRK citizens are able to travel to other countries, how do you explain this then? ht tp:// pili.la /8q

And if the UN aren't manipulated by the US, why do they have watch towers in the border line with North Korea? Because, as you know, South Korea is one of the US muppets...

As i said, there isn't any ACTUAL and REAL document which proves anything about North Korea, just because yo'll see all they want, always

  • @mazmardigan I live with North Korean refugees in London's Koreatown New Malden. There are more than 500 of them. I live with a North Korean family from Chongjin...life is worse than you can ever imagine. These video guys do know what they're talking about.

  • @mazmardigan

The UN is not "censored and manipulated" by America. The UN is openly opposed to a great many of America's policies and has vociferously condemned our strongest allies. Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International are not American organizations, they are objective international agencies with NO political affiliation or bias.

  • @mazmardigan Nothing I've heard about NK human rights is from the US press. It's all from actual testimonies from NK refugees and human rights reports. The US press only focuses on NK in terms of their nuclear plans...it does not typically address the issue of the corrupt philosophy this country is being run by or NK's lack of human rights.

  • Respond to this video... Perhaps you should attempt to travel to North Korea. Most likely, you won't be allowed to. That alone says something. But if you are allowed in, you can see for yourself the lack of freedom you will have during your time there. Of course your trip will be completely monitored by government guides who will make sure to provide a propaganda-rich version of NK life for you.

  • NORTH KOREA IS BEST KOREA

  • @mazmardigan

Internet is illegal in North Korea, if you really support Kim Jong Il's regime you wouldn't be on youtube

  • @TheTollundWoman The Internet is forbidden in the DPRK since it can be used as a manipulation tool against the citizens (keep in mind that the Internet is controlled by the USA). I currently live in a capitalist country, and it's very obvious that many people is being manipulated trough the Internet. I use the Internet since i know which kind of information should i see.

Anyway, most information on this video is old as fuck or false.

  • @mazmardigan

All the information in this video has been confirmed by the UNITED NATIONS which passed several resolutiosn condemning Kim Jong Il's crimes against humanity. The UN is certainly not a pro-american organization, it routinely condemns the american govt. and america's allies such as israel. the UN is not "controlled by the USA"!! and yet they confirm everything in this video and condemn kim jong il's regime

  • @mazmardigan there are always a means to figure out. no one can keep them so oppressed forever.

  • @mazmardigan How is no civil liberties, famine, torture, ethnic infanticide, the killing of babies with disabilities, forced labor, and concentration camps all by a corrupt government the "BEST KOREA?" How is that even a country?

  • what's the Macy's star doing there?

  • @simplycomplicated112 its the red star on the north korean flag -.-

  • @simplycomplicated112 Rofl macy's star lol. You need to get out and see the world more too

  • if a north korean resident published this they would get killed.

  • @aaronemem

And who knows what would happen to their family.

  • I call it ethnic cleansing.to many fking hippies in this world.WTF you expect from a communist country?Democracy?LOL please go back to I believe what they call Social Studies 101.You can't change a countries mind.Look at China, they tried democracy but FAILED.So they resorted back to what is it called......right Communism.

  • I call it ethnic cleansing.to many fking hippies in this world

  • PLEASE PEOPLE SHARE THIS VIDEO ON YOUR FACEBOOKS BLOGS ANY SITE YOU WANT WE GOTTA SPREAD THE WORD!

  • Plus, the things they can we can do by having "liberty" um... you can't. You people in some kinda hole?

  • But really you are all living in a boring, over-controlled, over prohibited, bland bubble where everyone is small minded and family oriented. You live in a world where we could be like gods in the sky, but they wont let you because of how much money governments make on killing and stealing from nature, from people and they're land on this planet. You will never live a truly amazing life NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO. So you wanna get real? The only true escape you are left with is death. Good job humans

  • The current fate of the North Koreans is miserable in every way. We should be grateful for what we have, and help the North Koreans so they can be grateful too. The truth is, it's obvious the dictators in North Korea don't care about their country. Let's show them that there are people worldwide who do care about North Korea and that we are willing to support them.

  • WHO THE HELL IN THIS WORLD WOULD GOVE A THUMBS DOWN TO SAVING THE MOST CURRUPT COUNTRY IN THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING SOOOOOOO BADLY?!?!

  • Let's pray for the nation of north Korea.

Pray that god will send hope. :)

  • drop beats, not bombs!

  • Its a powerful video yeah. But these days, its hard to tell whats the truth and whats exaggerated. I bet...that 90-98% of the people who watched this video thought "Man...thats really powerful" or something like that, maybe even teared up. But after that, its just another video to us and we probably wont do anything. Im not trying to bash this video or the people who watch it, im just saying that most of us probably are just as ignorant as the next guy and wont do anything about this problem.

  • "if you're a woman theres an 80 percent chance you'll be sold into the sex trade"

Im sorry but that statistic is a crock of shit

  • @leopulsereturns LOL! Meant to further anti-sex, misogynist (even the women) activists and their agenda fo creating monogamy as stated at the world human trafficking conference.

  • @HappyHookerTV once said, "The slaves had it worse than the sharecroppers, but that didn't mean that the sharecroppers shouldn't fight for more freedom and a better life." We should exercise our own demons before going over to others and telling them what to do while looking like hypocrites in the process.

  • The North Koreans are also the one that shish kabbobed Filipino babies in WWII. Fact is it wasn't the Japanese.

  • Damn. That's all I can say. Its too much to take in.

  • i wonder if north korea is doing worse

  • @ChrisBennett18 the video is about NK, wtf?

  • @CNcyanide18 seriosly i thought it was about the US not NK ive been to north korea and its much better than they tell us hier you get free food and electricity free education all you have to do is be a patriot nothing else and its a great turist attraction

  • @CNcyanide18 ooh wow i had no idea (sarcastically) they are talking about north korea

  • Also, North Korea is best off annexed into the South... that's really the BEST solution.

  • The Government IS aware of this North Korean issue, but it's not something so simple that it can be solved overnight. North Korea follows the "Juche", and uness we comepletely eradicate this so called philosophy and replace the Monarchic government, nothing can be done. As of right now, Kim Jong Il is NOT gonna let anything change without a large scale battle. We have to wait till the transition of power to Kim Jong Une, and even then, the Government may still be stubborn...we can only hope

  • @DannyXMage The people also can't be assimliated into south korean society because from birth the whole population is taught to think of themselves as better and privilaged and they are unaware of many many things. If north is invaded or collapses the people in a sense are already lost because their mindset just won't fit with us.

  • How do you know this information if they are an isolated country.

  • @Axcelaration They're isolated, not invisible.

  • why are you judging other country... This video is too exaggerate...

  • @Netmarblejp how do you know? This is to raise awareness to help other countries who don't have the freedom.

and how do you know it exaggerates? do you know what life is like there?

  • The country is practically under totalitarian dictatorship being camouflaged as "communist". It's sad to think that this country always comes to mind as I read George Orwell's novel, "1984" in for English class.

What is the next step after letting all other people aware of this issue? How can we reach this country who doesn't reach out for others? I hope we take necessary and practical actions (which I sadly don't know how) to help this country.

  • Ah I like the sound track on this.. Very touching too. Thanks for caring

  • saw this in history class today. made me tear up,

  • Maybe conditions wouldn't be so bad for the people of North Korea if the trade sanctions on food and medical supplies were lifted.

    Just a thought.

Way to put politics above human lives and tout the imperialist line.

  • @fortunecookiesucks the problem is that when red cross donates food (like rice), the government takes it and sells it to people who have money...so it's not much help

  • @koreangirl12 Well, I'm not really talking on a level of individual charities, I'm talking the economic trade sanctions placed against the country by the US and other nations that are largely responsible for its economic collapse/starvations.

  • I WILL SPREAD THE WORD SLOWLY BUT SHURELY :)

  • And yea... you wanna take action xD With your liberties? xD Ahahaha...

There WILL be a world war 3 because of North Korea... then you will help by lowering yourself to their level... You'll see how your government treats you... ^^

Ir's best to let it be as long the things are quiet... once they get pissed the whole world will suffer... I know you want that...

  • I EFFING LOVE WHAT THESE PEOPLE (LiNK) ARE DOING.... But i honestly wish people (everyone) could feel this way for other people (everyone).

And everyone just realise the ability to wake up is a gift and you should be thankful for it. and not want anything else except your next meal and your next chance to smile and laugh

  • LiNK came to my school today.... And i finaly decided what to do with my life =O but im not sure i want to focus on NK i wanna do stuff like ^ for whole world

  • That is no comparison to what we do to other animals every single day. Think about it. What do they have? Not even a voice for themselves.

  • Owwww poor them ~ =( !!! i really want to help them .. ( they really suffer ! )

  • Hey I just want to let u guys know that I love

what u do to try to spread the word about the North Korean refugees.

  • I actually tried to start a fundraiser in my school but unfortunately the principal thought that it would be "inappropriate" so unfortunately I wasnt able to contribute. Actually I bought one of ur shirts(RUNDMZ).

Ppl actually asked me about the shirt bcus it reminded them about RUNDMC shirt. However, once I tried to explain to them about the organization and the fundraiser you guys have they absolutely had no care.

  • @msmisosoupable I've tried to do the same thing at my school! It's so frustrating how indifferent people are. :\

  • I was quite appalled by their reaction. Honestly if they had the ears to listen and the money to donate tohappened to what's happening to the ppl of Haiti, why can't they take 5 minutes to just listen and PAY ATTENTION to what has been happening for years? I'm not saying that the donation to the people of Haiti is any less important.

  • However, I am asking WHY you cant spend less than 5 minutes to listen to the refugees who WANT and are willing to escape the inhumane treatment the other brainwashed North Koreans are getting?!

  • I find that people who have it so much are sometimes to ignorant about the other things in life that needs their help.. I live in a town filled with people living in their own little bubble and I ask whoever reads this that they would pray or hope for change in my town or anywhere else or anyone else that is like this.

  • this is not a clip about life in NK, this is some subjective petition

  • Good video. Thank you for spreading awareness about the crisis in North Korea and thank you for working to end it. May God bless your efforts.

  • i believe in righting wrongs and improving morally deficient countries, but there's still a hell of a lot of problems that we need to and could change at home before we went off somewhere else.

  • The Chinese government has the power to really do something about the problems in North Korea. China is their only friend and ally in the world, without their aid NK would implode tomorrow. As is stands, North Korea acts as a buffer state to separate them from the 30,000 U.S soldiers in SK, much like the Warsaw Pact countries did for the USSR. Beijing is prepared to turn a blind eye because of that and it's a short sighted policy as they'll have a nightmare on their hands if/when NK collapses.

  • Kim Jung Il must be killed!
  • Nice video! Very informative.

  • The direction we headed. Well be just like them

  • so i take it no one is going to tell me the name of this song? WELL!

  • @coolhorseman123 The song is the second half of "Goodbye Los Angeles" by Miss Vintage.

  • @linkglobal THERE AREN'T ANY FUCKING LYRICS OR I WOULD HAVE DONE THAT!!!

  • @coolhorseman123

just type the fucking lyrics into google and youll get the name by yourself!

  • @coolhorseman123

Is that your only interest of the objective after watching this video?

  • @goldenmasochist stfu man! you dont know my life!

  • The life is not fear! you must know there is so bad place on the world. You have lucky if you living in america or europe. so do not judge people who come from other "republic" and they dont have much money or they black or yelow color. Just live and be proud on your home!

  • chinese and american divided them into two pieces sixty years ago. they are the ones to blame

  • At least they get to play in the World Cup this summer :D

  • @glupsimnogu yeah but if they lose they'll probably be killed or malnourished when they get back home.

  • @tljjjr99 I kinda know that, just didnt want to bring that up...

  • What is the name of this song? i think i know, but i forgot ^_^ GREAT video Btw.

  • wow!

  • America should invade that country. This time everyone COULD support this war because it's not for oil but for justice.

  • @SkatinatorS but there's no profit in it for america :) sadly america is in debt for the next dunno what decades ...another war would've been catastrophic on their budget ... but the idea of invading north korea is ftw! couldnt feel more disgust towards Kim Jong Il and his policy ...

  • @klemen188 so you go on and kill their civilians xD

    Fucked up world

  • Yep another brilliant statement from a Yank: We should invade them...the difference between Iraq and NK, is that the Koreans will fuck you up unfourtunately.

  • @kosovanwhizkid You're right, the Pentagon estimated a million Koreans would be killed within the first hour of a war because NK has hundreds of artillery aimed at Seoul.

  • @SkatinatorS now you know why they don't ^^

  • best video in a long time :) other than a military intervention there isn't really anything else that would bring changes into North Korea. The borders are closed, no airplanes going in or out of the country ... :) the world doesn't care and why should we/they ... living in blisful ignorance and disregarding these kinda topics is normal for everyone :) plus other than politicians ... there's no one that can do anything about it ... whic's sad ...

  • Maybe N Korea wouldnt be in a world of shit if marines hadn't been in a world of pain to stop the spreading of communism in a country where Vatican held their interests.

    Imperialism spawns paranoid totaliarism.

Study dialectics. I know Hegel wrote in a way u wud fuck your brains out bfr u bcm worthy of it. But thats the way of the warrior.

  • what do you expect? an american made this! Americans always start stuff about north korea! America needs to get the hell out of North Korea and South Korea. They are the ones who started this, made North Korea the way it was, I'd feel the same as North Korea to America too! So, America, GET OUT OF KOREA to Korea can reunify!!! Stupid America thinks they know best! BUT THEY DONT!

  • @evanswebdesignnz erm ... americans are IN north korea?? ... you do know the president launched a couple of missles without warning the world first? unauthorised missile launch is a pretty good reason to intervene, don't you think? plus borders are close in north korea, who's supposingly IN it from the american side that is? you're an ignoramus. a country that's starved and deprived of options cause of stupid rulers and this is your argument? get the fuck out of korea?? ... just brilliant

  • What is this song called? its sounds really good, i like it. Great Video Btw.

  • @coolhorseman123 miss vintage - goodbye los angeles

  • Can somebody please tell me what program/tool was used to create this video? I've seen lots of videos made in this style using these effects but I never figured out which program it was.

    Cheers.

  • @ORCZORR

Then you and I are alike. Good to see someone else who doesn't clump Communism in with "Genocidal Dictatorships" all the time.

I'm a Leninist, although lately I've been looking into Mao as well. Its actually quite interesting and not nearly as nasty as the west portrays it.
