The UN is not "censored and manipulated" by America. The UN is openly opposed to a great many of America's policies and has vociferously condemned our strongest allies. Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International are not American organizations, they are objective international agencies with NO political affiliation or bias.

The US press only focuses on NK in terms of their nuclear plans...it does not typically address the issue of the corrupt philosophy this country is being run by or NK's lack of human rights.

The Government IS aware of this North Korean issue, but it's not something so simple that it can be solved overnight. North Korea follows the "Juche", and uness we comepletely eradicate this so called philosophy and replace the Monarchic government, nothing can be done. The country is practically under totalitarian dictatorship being camouflaged as "communist". It's sad to think that this country always comes to mind as I read George Orwell's novel, "1984" in for English class.

I was quite appalled by their reaction. Honestly if they had the ears to listen and the money to donate tohappened to what's happening to the ppl of Haiti, why can't they take 5 minutes to just listen and PAY ATTENTION to what has been happening for years? The Chinese government has the power to really do something about the problems in North Korea. China is their only friend and ally in the world, without their aid NK would implode tomorrow. As is stands, North Korea acts as a buffer state to separate them from the 30,000 U.S soldiers in SK, much like the Warsaw Pact countries did for the USSR. Beijing is prepared to turn a blind eye because of that and it's a short sighted policy as they'll have a nightmare on their hands if/when NK collapses.

not necessarily. why can't Seal Team VI just assassinate Kim Jong Il, Kim Jong Eun and the most powerful, brutal people within the regime? if a war breaks out most of NK's army will mutiny or defect anyway, the KPA doesn't even give its soldiers proper rations. so it would be possible, with targeted assassinations of the KWP leadership to bring about regime change with minimal damage to infrastructure, no civilian deaths and few military clashes.

We can make donations to organizations who help refugees from North Korea reach other countries where they can actually live. If you look around, there are so many things you can do to help :)

Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International are not American organizations, they are objective international agencies with NO political affiliation or bias.

The US press only focuses on NK in terms of their nuclear plans...it does not typically address the issue of the corrupt philosophy this country is being run by or NK's lack of human rights.

The Government IS aware of this North Korean issue, but it's not something so simple that it can be solved overnight. North Korea follows the "Juche", and uness we comepletely eradicate this so called philosophy and replace the Monarchic government, nothing can be done. As of right now, Kim Jong Il is NOT gonna let anything change without a large scale battle. We have to wait till the transition of power to Kim Jong Une, and even then, the Government may still be stubborn...we can only hope

The Chinese government has the power to really do something about the problems in North Korea. China is their only friend and ally in the world, without their aid NK would implode tomorrow. As is stands, North Korea acts as a buffer state to separate them from the 30,000 U.S soldiers in SK, much like the Warsaw Pact countries did for the USSR. Beijing is prepared to turn a blind eye because of that and it's a short sighted policy as they'll have a nightmare on their hands if/when NK collapses.

what do you expect? an american made this! Americans always start stuff about north korea! America needs to get the hell out of North Korea and South Korea. They are the ones who started this, made North Korea the way it was, I'd feel the same as North Korea to America too! So, America, GET OUT OF KOREA to Korea can reunify!!! Stupid America thinks they know best! BUT THEY DONT!

I'm a Leninist, although lately I've been looking into Mao as well. Its actually quite interesting and not nearly as nasty as the west portrays it.
