no, the bohrok and the rakshi are purely mechanical and controlled by krana and kraata respectively. The bohrok and rahkshi are just mechanical suits that the krana and kraata use for destruction. As for other Bionicles Matoran, Toa, Turaga, Rahi, etc. are all bio-mechanical meaning that they are, in fact alive.

but they've all ready practicaly done that in the online games (which captures the unworldly uniqeness of the characters in their toy forms)
