  • EXCELLENT SONG VERY BEAUTIFUL, CONGRATULATIONS . ♥ ♪♫ !! ☑

  • ¡¡¡Robert Palmer fuiste un MAESTRO!!!

  • How can you not love this?!

  • R.I.P.Robert Palmer! The Consumate Of Cool was a light in this dark world. I miss him.

  • way out of sync

  • What happened to the timing on this video? I used to watch this all the time and it was perfectly synced.

  • Great song, Palmer is A-class - but the band crapped out, kill that guitarist!

Plus the video is out of sync, sorry.

  • the worst solo ever heard on this song

  • I've never been a big fan of Paul Shaffer's band doing the music for classic songs like this one. They never sound quite right & the guitar tone is way off here. I know the guest guitarist also had alot to do with that too though. I just wish Plamer had used his own band instead. But it's always great to see/hear him.

  • manita arriba para los qe oimos esta cancion y nos volvemos locos a bailar

  • You all can see I do sound like Robert Palmer watch abc karaoke battle USA in aug you'll hear me sing this song ... Well 90 sec of it .... Hope ya get to c ppl .... Randy

  • Nobody currently on the scene has the voice that Robert Palmer had. Not even close.

  • great sons, Discover over 32 years

  • He is one of those singers when one of his songs comes on the radio in the car, you have to turn it up and sing along. Great Music !

  • @Dionese17 - Are we in agreement that UFO's version is the best? I may have misunderstood you...

  • @mer99mx

the lip sync is not bad, it is the audio for the video. if you watch close, you can see that the whole band is off as well

  • Comment removed

  • @mer99mx blame the video editing. the visual and audio is out of sync?

  • lip sink

  • sockaccount0

  • Artists never lip sync on the Letterman Show, you must show up to play or don't show at all!

  • Cool out of snyc

  • terrible lip sync lol good song though

  • Robert rox.....and rox...

  • this dude is cool. He look like the older cousin of michael j fox.

  • Oh! Buddy Guy sits and plays a screaming guitar!

  • @SHOYUMAME that solo was terrible.

  • 100% live. If you know his musical legacy you will know this.

  • @timerickson Is there any way you can sync up this video? Thanks for the upload!

  • eine kleine zeit verzerrung

  • Roy Halladay (Baseball's MOST AWESOME pitcher of 2000's) loves this song

  • 4 years and one day since this upload with 415k views. nice.

  • Esta canción definitivamente me alegra el día

  • bad quality

  • sound not synced up with the video. He's not lip syncing. Whoever said that is a jackass

  • Amazing artist RIP Robert, your death was largely unnoticed by the media, shame, you are still one of the UK's best imports

  • i thought this was gonna be

  • @neverindoubt

No way. Video is out of sync.

  • ..I have wanted to fuck you since i was thirteen years old...is that bad?

  • @TheSpaLife88

    he';s dead....

  • thats Buddy Guy sitting back there!!!!!..fuckin hell!!

  • wot poise, power, style, charisma, charm and sex appeal..this man had balls of steel..

  • Powerful voice, flawless sense of time! This is a guy who knew how to SING, my friends! And Palmer was substance over style, yet still managed to be more stylish than just about anyone in such an image-conscious era in music.

  • shame cheap coke , stole his great talent., should have had better men round him.

  • @michaelwright999 what an idiotic comment, educate yourself before posting

  • So handsome. Kinda like Richard Gere. So classy and manly lol

Sumthin about a sharp dressed man! OW! ::giggle:::

    *RIP*

  • Could he any cooler strolling out with his hand in his pocket :)

  • Ok. So I realise I have raised all sorts of questions about my other half's bents. RP stirs deep longings, not in him, but in his wife, Ally.

  • He exudes class. So understated and always, deeply sexual.

  • the lead guitar sucks...way out of tune ..I do'nt think that isbuddy guy

  • Best dressed rocker ever!!!!! Case closed!!!

    Robert "the Bomb" Palmer!!!!!!

  • Potencia vestida de elegancia! Uau!

  • even tho robert palmer "didn't mean to turn" me on he did with his music...RIP man

  • Robert Palmer will always be the definition of cool...

  • Classic! So 80's!

  • What a mess! the black guitar player is not used to this kind of rock-pop music.

  • buddy guy it may be, but he is literally taking a dump on this song.

  • You should just stay away from all live perfromances, because they never sound exactly like the album.

  • @clyntonprice yeah thats Buddy. Chicago legend. I guess the Late Show must have been touring? Hence in Chicago, look up Buddy I suppose... but man, yer right. Paul literally is pointing with both hands: "NOW!" Jeez. Why bring in someone like that if they dont know the tune AT ALL? Oh well.

  • Palmer was always good value " live "

See another good job...search STONE COLD JOOLS

  • he was hotter than hell! what a terrible loss

  • what a lucky guy he was with all those ladies in the backrounds of his songs!

My kid loves to sing this one and sounds so damn funny! Original is great though.

  • Looks like Paul Schaeffer is leading the band...Is this from Saturday Night Live?...What Year was this?

  • always loved how classy he was. straight up legendary status.

  • This takes me straight back to yesteryear.

Thank You and RIP, Robert The Great.

  • YEGUO!!!!!!! solo vos podias hacerlo!!! te escucho despues de tantos años y el Coraz.on me estalla NO MORIRAS JAMAS!!!!!!

  • robert is no longer, here with us,phsically, but shall always,be here with us spirituality. as long as music exist!!

  • The news in 2003 totally ruined my week...

    Rest in peace, Robert

  • Who the fuck is that guitarist did he forget all the lead or something

  • @iStu91,

    you are one solid dumbfuck.

First of all, that's Buddy Guy, and he's ripping ass.

Second, on a star-studded jam, you don't hog the whole solo.

I guess the only guitar you know is AIR-GUITAR, so STFU!

  • man this is such an awsome song- I really hate kareoke but if I ever had to pick a song it would be this one!!!!

  • Doctor, doctor, gimme the news

i got a bad case of lovin' you

no pill's gonna cure my ill

    i got a bad case of lovin`you

  • its about 6 yrs since he passed away now. Doesnt it fly , sad .

  • Unbelievable! He is not gone, he lives! He lives in our hearts and on You Tube.

  • .....Excellent song.!.....WRONG TITLE.!

  • He was gorgeous and unbelievably talented.

  • I'm addicted to Robert Palmer.

  • RIP ROBERT. WE STILL MISS YOU.

  • rip to an awesome man!

  • damn! that's how i feel...what a power house of emotions in that song!!!

  • Wow, was Robert a big hit in America?

  • Not at first. He released several albums and singles before "Bad Case of Loving You" (written by Moon Martin) became a hit, and then he went nuclear with "Addicted to Love".

  • This song was a Top 20 Hit in America, but it was also a #1 Hit in Canada

  • Weapons grade singer, that he was...

    5/5 and R.I.P.

  • 'Weapons Grade Singer' is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time! That he was! That he was!

  • Weapons-Grade is the term!

Weapons-Grade in a Brioni suit, custom shirt and tie.

    All class.

    All substance.

    RIP Robert.

  • Still can't my head round the fact that he's gone...

  • @TCIslandDiver Truer words have never been spoken.

  • @TCIslandDiver: I submit...weapons grade rox

  • el mejor tema de robert,lo escuchaba de pibe.

    desde argentina,saludos

  • The session musicians were each trying to improve on the original in the small parts where they had solos. Where's the problem? RP was enough of a pro to deal with it: it wasn't his band.

  • Yes , the guitarist was total muck.

Check out Simply Irresistible on letterman.

best palmer i've seen. simply awesome.

and the band were on the fckn money too as opposed to this debacle.

  • is that guitarrist trying to ruin the song?the song is meat and potatoes how does a paid musician does that??(i mean the one sitting down)

  • lol its buddy guy...:P still, he doesnt sound good...

  • Oh come on guys! Stop it please..

  • Comment removed

  • How did you not know he was englis??? sorry are you actually dead?

  • Comment removed

  • never knew he was british, from the same county as me as well.

  • ...shame on you!! He was the greatest british man ever!!! ...and died in france...*argh*

  • I love this song soo much, I heard it in an episode of Scrubs and fell inlove with it. I'm loving the suit aswell, Looks like a Dad trying to be cool lol

  • This song was written by Moon Martin.

  • Good ole Rock n' Roll! That's the way I like it! :-)

  • What the hell is paul doing? Either play something or get off the stage haha

  • He's conducting. Rather passively, but, that is Paul. lol

  • Genio !!!! The Argentina !!!!

  • palmer is the greatest., letterman sucks

  • Awesome!

  • Cool man. Is that living legends Buddy Guy & James Cotton sitting in with them?

  • I say yes, because it's Chicago.

  • I think it is. And that is awesome.

  • ¤º°¨ ¸„ø¤º°¨°º¤ø„¸¨°º¤ø„

  • HI from Italy, is the INCREDIBLE WILL LEE on Bass and Vocals?

    Ciao.

  • Oh yes!

  • ...reminds me so much of my last girlfriend ;)

  • The song is sooooo great and rock !

So sexy that Robert Palmer wore the suit to sing this great song !

  • i didn't like the guy who conducts the band as if they were some kind of symphony orchestra

  • That conductor is Paul Shaffer, the legendary leader of the band. There are no keyboard parts for the song so he decided to act like a conductor for an orchestra. I guess he felt he had to stay busy doing something.

  • fully aggree

  • I wouldn't trade places with many people, but wouldn't it be great to be Robert Palmer?! God bless you, Robert--I hope to meet you one day...........Rick

  • Doctor Doctor, gimme the news I got a

    Bad case of loving you

No pill's gonna kill my ill I got a

    Bad case of loving you

    God, I love this song!

  • he sort of reminds me of Kenneth Branaugh, the brit actor. hope i spelled the name right.

  • looks like Paul Schaeffer directing the band.

  • what year is?

  • oh man, this guy could sing. they don't come like this anymore. Music is degrading slowly to tacky materialistic noise. This is how it should be. RIP Palmer you're the man.

  • you think music is degrading slowly? it's been crap for the last 25 years. just totally fell of a cliff in my estimation. i remember waking up one day in '84 and saying "What the Fuck?!?" and i was only 14 at the time. Although i loved the Power Station record. that was a good one-off project.

  • yup. He had great breath control, voice full of soul, he definitely was one of the greatest singers. He went too early.

  • Buddy Guy on guitar...wow!

  • we will miss u

  • MUY BUENO . great !!!!

  • There will never be another one like him. RIP Robert

  • what a class act, miss you Robert!

  • so true...pure class...simply ireplaceable. RIP

  • What a great performer. I have yet to hear a song of his that I didn't adore!

  • Sharp suit, sharp vocals, his untimely death was a great loss.

Excellent live performance, and I was lucky enough to see him live in Wembley back in 91.

  • a gentleman

  • Bout 1:55 , is it just me or does the guitarist look like Trigger from Only Fools and Horses?

  • lmao yea he does..........

  • very gentleman so cute............. he is making all angels dance in heaven. I am pretty sure about it. jajaj

  • doctor,doctor is beutifal music

  • ROBERT ROOOOCKS! THAT'S MY BABY!

  • You have excellent taste. Robert Palmer was such a talented, classy and versatile artist. What a handsome man. So many of us miss you terribly, Robert. And will ALWAYS love you and your music.

  • "That guitarist" so many of you refer to is Buddy Guy, the greatest electric guitarist of our time. He's not known as a studio player, but someone who jams. And Robert's music was more pop than jam, so it makes sense he might not have played his best in the few seconds he was given. To see the great Robert Palmer and the great Buddy Guy together on one stage is amazing.

  • Is that guitarist on drugs? He's all OVER the place! He misses his notes at 0:53 and is even worse at 1:37 until the other guy takes over to spare his blushes. No wonder Robert's looking around as if to say 'WTF??'

  • I CANNOT believe you morons took the great Late Robert Palmer's BEST video off. Now because you are a obviously a bunch of STUPID non-thinking IDIOTS thousands of we intellegent hard working people cannot enjoy watching this fantastic video after a hard day and that is WRONG. PUT IT BACK you IDIOTS

  • I think he was great! The other way I watch an old video. He would be thirty and he was sexy. RIP Robert Palmer

  • Robert Palmer would be 007.

    Bryan Ferry would be 006!

    Greatness from the "wet" land.

  • ROB IS THE MAN

  • If James Bond was a rock star. He would be Robert Palmer.

  • AS ALWAYS, PERFECTION XX
