One thing to point out,Cersei isn't the major evil in the story, she was just a pawn. Basically Littlefinger (supposedly) used Cersei and Jaime relationship to set in motion the whole chain of events that span the length of the books.. Most of the evils that the Lannisters are accused of they had no part in, Jon Arryn death, the Sellsword coming to Brans room. I mean hell, Cersei was going to make Ned take the black, even after he threaten to expose her.
