It is time to make our government accountable..if they knowingly have proof that a parent si VERY unfit or a person, relative, foster home etc and give them a child..also for the social workers who do not check up on these kids and also for judges who give children to people like this KNOWING they are dangerous-They should also be charged with murder.

They are the ones who had the only choice in helping this child and if they fail on purpose-They need to be CHARGED!And relieved of their position

Giving children to relatives who are not checked out..stupid.. These babies rely on us just like any innocent does...And also you just don't give children BACK to parents or leave them with them if they are DANGEROUS! Idiots! This is another reason why I wanted to be a social worker. So many are corrupt.

As a grandmother, I am incredulous over this blatant neglect on the part of Social Services. I hope that the family, who loved this child retains an attorney and sues the County for their disregard for the safety of this little boy!

Don't judge what you hear on tv. Caleb was my cousin and my family tried everything to find him. The family will always love you and you will never be forgotten.

The laws regarding the goal of social services have to be changed. Returning the child to the parent should not be the first goal. Keeping the child safe should be the goal. Change the laws, save the innocents.

The law needs changing in at least two places here, something needs to be done where children (Angels) are given back to people who have or may have or ahve EVER had = "anger issues" AND the cops should be given a search warrant instantly, when a child goes missing AND WHY???? didn't the cops search under the home anyway.

@EdensSecret1 If I understand this case, the police were ONLY contacted last week with regards to Caleb. Prior to that, the police were not aware that a child was missing. It was when the police received a tip on where Caleb could be found, and I believe this came from the mother's boyfriend. It appears that Caleb may have been deceased for at least a year or within a year and no one knew it.

@tuberose1959 Ok, I stand corrected. His own relatives had for all intents and purposes "adopted" him, and good for them. So sad that the mother was able to take him back.

So sad. I read an article online & it said the mother just gave birth to a baby girl.. why do these women have children when they clearly don't want them? Have they never heard of birth control? It makes me sick.. RIP little Caleb <3

@MzReginaR0SE I personally believe that they like to be pregnant, they like the attention and the grandiose feeling, but once the high comes down, and they realize they have a human life depending on them they snap --- it seems to usually happen right around the time the child is able to show/tell of neglect/abuse...the time where it is no longer a baby and the parenting can actually be gauged by the childs behaviors... imho
