Heb 4:12 "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." God bless His servants who He uses to convict us of how we walk with Christ and what we do for His Kingdom...
I believe a person can become a Christian in a moment, if they understand their sin separates them from a Holy God, that Christ Jesus, the God Man died on the Cross to pay the penalty for their sin, and they understand that they must receive HIM as their Savior. To get to Heaven is to relinquish all control of your eternal destiny and place it in the hands of Jesus. This can happen in very quickly. Some people sit in church for 30 yrs and are never saved because they wouldn't receive Christ.
@candiceevans1 In my view the Holy Spirit is in all believers. Romans 8 says if we don't have the Spirit then we are none of his. Instead of wanting more of the Spirit, I think it's important for believers to realize that the Holy Spirit wants more of US. The reason why we don't live in the joy of the Lord and in His power is because we get in the way. Everything we need according to 2 Peter 1:3 has been given us for life and godliness. It's because we have the Spirit. Bless you.
I watch Brother Leonard almost every day... I thank the Lord for a man like Leonard, I prayed and said to God..I wish I could of seen leonard and the Lord gave me a dream with Leonard, It was amazing and I thank God for what he has done in my life...Brother David as recently gone to be with the Lord and we have no Great men who dont compromise the Gospel Like Leonard, I am so dissapointed by the preaching today...they have no passion or zeal, I Pray the Lord will send a man soon....
@denisechall1 You could be the man, brother. Of a truth the church today is a far cry from what Christ expects. We have failed and the only reason we are still standing today is because Christ Himself said the gates of hell shall not prevail, but for that only God knows. But it all comes with paying the price. Ravenhill did and also did David. I remember listening to Ravenhill preach on Samson; no other message has stirred me more. We need extraordinary men of God in these dangerous times.
@73geneva Amen Brother...you are blessed to of listened to brother leonard, I pray for a man like him...did you mean david Wilkerson? another great man of God..I fill with tears when I think of the 2 of them and what they did for the Lord..I reacently bought Leaonards Autobiography by Mack Thomlinson, I could not read it at the start because I could not see for tears, Its very powerful...I know the Lord is coming back soon and I am looking Up..
@candiceevans1 Not sure exactly what you mean by "taken out of the way" sister. The Holy Spirit lives inside of me and all other Christians. What do you mean by "taken out of the way"? I often see the Holy Spirit moving in the life's of people when I am ministering on the streets too. Keep in mind that there are little pockets of revival all around the world too. Maybe I am misunderstanding you...

The reason why we see such evil in the world, and don't see the miracles that Ravenhill speaks of is because the Holy Ghost has left the majority of churches, especially in the West. If you were to go to Asia, and see what God's doing over there, you'd see a greater availability unto God.

This is the missing classic fire for God and truth that brings sobriety and balance in today's Christianity. We need his link with the past revivals and great movements of God that shaped lives and nations through faith in God. I'm grateful to have been grounded in faith on Ravenhill's books as a young believer; may the Lord help me finish well.
I'm sure he's not saying that you can't get saved in 4 min. but rather likely he's meaning that it's unlikely.
I tend to think that one can use time that's one's spends praying before as a way to worked up into a frenzy, a form of hypnoses, just like he was talking about them using the songs & etc. after the preaching to work the people up. So I find that I need to ask myself, 'can I be free indeed from all hypnotizing tactics? Yes I'm sure I can, in Christ.
I do not have words adequate enough to thank you for posting tis video. I have been saved since 1976 and was converted in a fellowship that stood for these kind of truths. God help us and send a revival of truth to a church world that has forgotten repentance and follows fads and not Jesus
Mr Ravenhill has helped me to see the light..literally. The church we have been attending for three years since we moved to this area are dead! (In Christ) Happy to sit and listen, eat all the in church meals and functions and clubs that are organised, there is no outreach, no seeking for God's will in their lives, hardly anyone attends the prayer meeting 'once a week'. I see and feel no one full of the Holy Spirit, everything is ordered, 'mans order'! Oh I pray that The Lord will awake England.
Now that is HILARIOUS! What a contradiction that is! Ravenhill held to the Moral Government version of the Atonement and his favorite book of all time was by a Moral Government Theologian on the Atonement! HAHAHAHA!
