Excellent advice! And you should make a comment sometime about how to deal with guys like me from the start. I'm a talker, and a visitor. If you talk to me and you're not a weirdo, I will visit you and talk to you. I will do this semi-regularly. And I will not be good at ending conversations...
...Right from the start, carry the attitude that casual conversation must soon make way for quiet busy. If the talker talks for more than 3 minutes, just say "I gotta keep moving here but thanks for the chat". If the talker then appears before enough days have passed, appear politely surprised that they've returned so soon.
