for sure that sounds cool. I,ve acshally got some really neet designs for robot wars. I'll paste the link here as soon as i post my rc it's kind of cheap i've had to start over due to striped gears and bent axels lol. new one is cheap but great to start off with . also from experence with air crushers. try to use leaverage as in length when trasfering from air to movement. kind of like adding an extra two foot pipe on to the handles of bolt cuters. it increses leverage= tourqe
Hey man. very good starting idea. i started the same way but then i bought a 20 remote control (wire less) and take the control board from it and attack to the motors. this makes for alot more fun. Ill post my robot soon
I kinda just winged it. The most challenging part was the wiring for the switches so you can make the motors turn both directions. U need double throw double pole switches. I'll try and find a diagram for the wiring and post the link up
if your really interested in robotics and electronics I recomend picking up "Robot Builder's Bonanza" at barnes and noble. They have everything you need to know including the wiring for those switches
