@MrLA66 RV3 is in testing at the Euro drag finals at Santa Pod today. The competion starts Friday 9th September. This will be the first time to see what it can really do. Live streaming at eurodragster dotcom.

I believe the team are aiming for sub 6.5 for the 1/4.

haha, i must admit i admire you're determination, but its more amazing that you can watch this video, listen to him and still argue against it. and by the way chap, red victor 2 went to drag week a couple years back, and he plans to take this there too, Rod Saboury (the guy who owns the corvette thats street legal and runs 6's) and Andy are good friends. this car doesnt need to fill up on methanol every 25 miles, your making yourself sound ever stupider. i look forward to your next outburst

The car is a brilliantly built drag car like i said before . But again your delusional if you think its a street car. Boyo street cars don't have....... full tube chassis, no interior, custom fibre glass bodies, exhaust exiting the fenders etc etc etc.

@caneo57 Yes, it is bizarre in the UK. Lots of rules and regulations about lights, mirrors, windscreen wipers, etc to get a car approved for road use. Yet you can have 3000 bhp and fat tyres - not slicks, though, as min tread depth is 1.6 mm

RV3 is expected to go under 6.5 for the 1/4. That would make it the world's fastest accelerating "street legal" car. Not the same as saying it's a road car for everyday use - for that you'd need a team of mechanics on standby and your own private oil well!

@lerroc then 7.23 @ 199. nearly toped 200 after its second event. santa pods sart line was resurfaced before the race so loads of teams had trouble launching, especially in pro stock

no need to get hostile fella, the fact its, its registered as a street car, drives on the street, and after every event it competes in drag racing it has to drive a 25 mile cruise with all other competitors to a petrol station and fill up with pump gas then drive back and if at any point it breaks then it would be disqualified from competition. what more proof do you need. most people only drive their cars from work or to the shops or to run erands, this could do all of those.

A lenco, full chassis no interior doesn't appear to have operating lights and has the exhaust exiting the front fenders etc......Like i said great drag car but its no street car. It drives 25 miles to the petrol station do they sell methanol there on the bowser??? So when the valves seized in the guides and broke the cam in 3 half passes total!! a Brand new engine ruined....... Yeah Sure c u r point .... reliable street car

If that thing can be licensed in your country as a street car ???? then the answer is simple your road authorities let DRAG cars drive on the street............. street cars don't have lenco's full chassis and fibre glass bodies, no interior , no exhaust , etc etc etc they also can drive for longer then 5minutes without exploding the engine......... wake up and listen to reason.

"All cars have to use street-legal tyres (no DoT ‘cheats’), mufflers, regularly available pump fuel and all required street equipment. Every car has to complete a 25-30 mile road ‘cruise’ that ensures they are street-driven as well as street-legal. Wheelie-bars are not permitted at any time."  anything else you wanna say?

Drag cars have fibre glass bodies with no interior,funny car roll cage, full chassis , 1/4 of an exhaust system lenco's etc.That cars fuel tank is that small it wouldn't go 25 miles down the road without having to fill up on methanol .In the u/k do you have meth at the bowser??? your the one who is stupid trying to validate that its a street car........ delusional take it to drag week then drive 1200miles in 4 days

This drag car is a great effort........ but your delusional if you think that it would be able to drive even 50 miles non stop on the road without having to fix some thing or refueling etc........ its a drag car that's it!!
