  • Tetro was a BEAST of a "student film"!

  • Love the man's films. It's great to see he's still making wonderful cinema and with an attitude that is as youthful as when he started out. Stay Free Francis. All the best from the UK.

  • At the beginning I was very excited with this film; I thought I was watching a new -La dolce vita- or some kind of monster that would turn the world upside down, but, sadly, it all turned out to be a complete disappointment. The movie is filled with common places and mishaps. Anyway, Ill always love Francis Ford Coppola.

  • It's really weird watch a Francis Ford Coppolas film set in a place where i walk almost everyday.

It's really crazy and it's so damn great!

    Thanks Francis!

  • Your visual sense is always incredible to watch. Dracula, One From The Heart, Rumble Fish, Apocalypse, Tucker - all have images I will never forget. Thank you for continuing to do what you do best.

  • It is inspiring.

  • so cool.... Francis never ceases to inspire me. wonderful.

  • tnx Francis, ciao

  • Good to hear this, thanks:)

  • Saw Tetro last night. Gorgeous, fascinating film. Vincent Gallo finally takes you all the way in...but Francis helps by writing a great story. Problem at the Kabuki theatre here in San Francisco, is that the right fourth of the screen is out of focus for the whole time. Isn't this 2009? We're still dealing with this nonsense after all the new theatre technology and lens design. What an annoyance. Francis...do something!

  • 35mm projector or digital HD projector, you still have to focus them. I saw it around the same time you did in Pasadena. Beautiful film both in look and content. Gallo has done his best performance so far concerning his range. It did feel a bit too long but at the same time the entire film right into the ending felt very reminiscent of late 1970's cinema.

  • I would love to have a Dolly,i wonder if i can change a shopping trolley into a dolly, because my films are a bit wobbly but wobbly is cool and i have a torch.I like learning how to make movies too, thankyou and have a lovely day...

  • Francis Ford Coppola rocks. I'm glad he has enough money and clout that he can do indie films with credibility. Even so, I don't think he's ever made a movie that didn't have some of his artistic sensibility involved.

  • Francis! You are an inspiration to all of us struggling artists. Thank you! I read Pinocchio as a young teenager and was amazed by how much richer it was than the Disney screen version. If you ever try to pursue making it, I volunteer! I will throw my heart and soul in it! (and I live just down the road from Napa, too!) Be well, be happy. - HG

  • Mr. Coppola you have it figured out. This is the way to do it. Not 8 semi trucks and 400 people. You create art by minimizing the complications and focusing on what matters.

  • endless GREATNESS!

  • I'm so excited about this movie after watching all of these videos!

  • He's a genius.

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • wow, cool stuff. what a legend.

  • Constraints are artistically liberating, whether they're financial or otherwise.

  • Cant wait too see it!!!
