ALMA GLUCK (May 11, 1884 – October 27, 1938) was a Romanian-born American soprano, one of the world's most famous female singers at the peak of her career (circa 1910).
I don't think I got it from the patent date but from something I read online; never the less I will change it. Where did you find the information? I have been desperately trying to find books on how to date my 78s so if you have any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it!
@rulebritannia1991 You can find the dates for all Victor recordings up to late 1924 now at the Victor Discography site. They are slowly adding all of them. It also lists the conductor, sometimes musicians and all the vocalists in the recording. Just google it and you will find it. You can find other dates at the 78rpm discographical project site.
Thanks for the Video response. According to the Victor Discography, this particular recording was made on March 22nd, 1911. I wonder where did you get the year 1908 - possibly you've got it from the patent indictation on the label which can be seen all Victor records pressed (published) between 1911 to 1915.
