Uthman was taught the Quran to memory by Muhammed himself. He is of the first 4 Calphites who lived with and taught by Muhammed. All Calphites have to know the Quran by heart and are tested by numurous scholars. Arabic was a very major written language. Quran was memorized in pure Arabic and written i Arabic. The first original written Arabic Quran is in Istanbul Okapi museu. President Uthman did not change even one letter of Quran.
