Machun may have been the best female vocalist this group had. Even though I like most of the albums, East is the best for me. Thanks for uploading this.
Fantastic piece! Great music and vocals and perfect lyrics that remind one of a special time in life, that has returned to give happiness to two people that have been lost for 28 years! Thanks for this wonderful music!!!
thank you for posting this music . I love Hiroshima. Domu arigato. make me relax and meke me recall my teenage years. from Butuan City Philippines with love.
oooooo myyyy goshhhhhhh !!!!!! listening this music i would like to eat a bean burrito and chicken quesadilla from del taco! taco bell sucks! besides......del taco has a super promotion this week , buy a extra cheesse quesadilla and they put 3 more slices of cheese and jalapeño peppers and a doctor pepper as refreshing beverage , hurry , offer ends soon!
It's astonishing how Hiroshima has only garnered a small fanbase. They have more talent than 90% of the bands today (not to mention they make amazing music). I especially like how in this song and "Why Can't I Love You" they have the whole band backing the lead singer.
I saw them in concert when the original title for 1000 cranes was 1000 tear drops truly amazing musicians it was incredible watching her play once in a life time.
I remember seeing them when they were touring for this CD and yes...Machun was with them...this voice is one of a kind and I was swooning by the end of this song.
You are welcome! I'll have to find that Arsenio Hall footage I taped of this song being performed. "Machun" was a great singer live, and was stunning looking too! I believe Hiroshima has gone through about 4-5 soloists after her(?) Their last 2 albums were instrumental. I once met June Kuramoto in person, and she was very nice and shy.
Thank you for this! I too remember their performance on the Arsenio show. I think I still have it somewhere on tape(?) I noticed a few tiny variations in the lyrics and what was sung, so I wonder if that is the singer or a typing error? By the way, I thought "Machun" was Korean, but it turns out her full name is Margaret Sasaki-Taylor.
You and me both! The first time I heard this song is when they performed on the A-Hall show! I know where my VHS tape is at when I tape the show. I just haven't watch it for about 15 yrs.
Don't get me wrong.. the song Save Yourself For Me.. isnt that title Save A Prayer For me? hope dot i dont have to pick up tiny pieces of the past & live on it over & over again.
Very smooth, Hiroshima can put a out ballad.
