...Carl is a rare bird, he's got all those chops and all that theory and it's still drenched in pure feeling all the way through, there's no algebra and no smoke & mirrors here! I always have to stop what I'm doing when he plays, and just... listen. "Ver Sure".

he's a crazy good player, but does it sound like theres way too much bass in his sound? he hits the low f at like 1:30 and its like WOOF

this was recorded on a canon consumer-grade camcorder with a shotgun mic. I did not mic his amp.

Personally I like a lot of bass in my tone. And compared to jazz tones that was like nothing but yea I know, it's a strat and it should probably be a bit more trebly but that's just me.
