  • WTF i have an atom N450 Dual-Core not Single-Core and it's older! Chromebook, no sir!

  • looks rugly

  • thanks

  • @PJMAN2952 maybe because there were made by samsung?

  • I think that if Google wants to make an OS they should try and fashioned it around the android OS, simple, stable and do not require much hardware to work it.

  • i think i hated this OS without trying it

  • hey guys i need your help i want to know the BEST gaming computer i can get for $750 MAX and i need it to be able to ship to canada

  • Good video

  • good review. i certainly liked the point that it is not for everyone.

  • Is there a video How to install chrome on usb? I downloaded the image for usb. What's next?

  • @rsz12345678 Download the cd version and use UNETbootin to burn it to the usb. Well at least thats what i did for Linux Mint and Ubuntu.

  • but if it does less, and cost around the price range of a normal netbook, why would i want it? i mean how often does a person turn off and on his computer for the boot time/sleep recovery to matter? if it's for those ultra quick jobs like checking mail or using google map, i'd want a smart phone to complement my normal netbook, not another device i have to get out from my backpack.

  • i want one

  • Like Chrome

The laptop also had it's own simplicity

  • where is the @-button???

  • is this Product placement for jailbreaking your ipod/iphone? xD

  • I want one.

  • GREAT REVIEW LOVED IT

  • is it me or does this guy's voice sound fucked up like he's retarded?

  • how do you connect it to a protected wifi

  • great review was extremely helpful

  • This is a really good review- its one of the first ive seen that understand that its a niche product aimed at undercutting the netbook market. think about it, teens, low income, and very casual consumers will be able to have a laptop to meet their basic needs for relatively low cost. (and though its a 'netbook' the screen isnt tiny). This will not replace the world's computers... itll just help the push towards more friendly cloud computing.

  • @danwindham1 Thanks!

  • @danwindham1 here's a simple question I've been thinking about: why would we take this instead of a tablet with a keyboard dock like Asus Transformer?

  • Lol @ the internet explorer 9 ad. Perfect for a Chrome OS review XD.

  • Just imagine if Google launch a special subsidize introductory price of $150.... I would by a bundle!!! After all, they will not be doing it to make billions out of the computers themselves, but out of the online business they, the computers so closely tied to Google, will bring them. Apple might dominate the high end market, but with super cheap chrmoeos computers, build by a miriad of manufactures, Google may conquer the lower, massive, segment of the market.

  • Chrome OS is #FAIL as when you are in a place with no internet connectivity it is pretty much useless.

  • lol 2:22 Google Chrome OS, If you look on the right there is an Internet Explorer 9 ad

  • @pat20105 and i have a chrome ad in ie9

  • Who do you think will create the next OS to replace Windows, OSX and Linux?

  • Does Chrome OS allow you to upload youtube video?

  • the macbook air starts up super quick too... and its a full computer

  • @NoIceOnParadise But it's running mac...

  • @duncan33303 isn't better to buy a cheap tablet

  • @duncan33303 isn't better to but a cheap tablet

  • They sent you the Google Cr-48 to review the OS not the hardware lol.

  • send me that laptop! cant get in canada!

  • i would sell my soul to the devil to get a cr48 :( wish i had one

  • hey, austin, i heard you have your new d3live on vokle. good thing because it is better than blogtv

  • dude this sounds soooooooooooooooooooo professional nice job

  • I missed the "Thanks For Watching" :)

  • Make more iPhone Videos!

  • I honestly think they should've gone for more of a clean cut, low profile design like the macbook and macbook pro, but who knows, maybe one of them will be like that.

  • what about viruses ?

  • @iceon23 All of the applications will be downloaded from the Google Web Store, so they'll all be virus checked and approved by Google before released to the store.

  • @iceon23 None. You can't get them. It's awesome.

  • give one away

  • YOU DIDN'T PUT THE STICKERS ON :(

  • the trackpad Is one big button...

  • Yeah, I personally hate the trackpad

  • Too bad t doesn't have an optical drive pthtbththt

  • @Lengi123 I guess I don't see a reason to have an optical drive on this type of computer. Storing data on it, itself, is not what it is meant for.

  • @Somone77 i guess not.... i think ill stick to pc though

  • thanks for that i wanted to see the features

  • Is there anyway I can test the Chrome OS on my netbook?

  • nice vid but it bothers me a little how this feels like advertisement..

anyway keep up the good work

  • @PJMAN2952 Maybe not copied but sure, it resembles it.

  • @duncan33303 Is it fast i mean does it take longer than 3 seconds to load a web page if so thats not that great to me

  • Hey duncan, how much will this "netbook" cost when its on the market?

    Great video!

  • @Smoxa The Cr-48 won't ever be on sale, it's just for testing purposes. I imagine most Chrome OS notebooks will be similar to Windows netbooks and laptops. Same goes for the price, I would think $200-400 is what you would be looking at.

  • @duncan33303 Nice!

Who will be making notebooks with Chrome OS then, companies like HP, Toshiba, etc?

Or will Google be making their own notebooks?

  • @Smoxa Various companies will be making Chrome OS computers, just like they do with Windows.

  • @duncan33303 Very good stuff!

I will be looking forward to this notebook coming out, I might pick one up myself when it launches,

its a great way to just switch on and start surfing the net, unlike some laptops you have to wait for them to boot up, and then open a browser. Chrome OS is a good idea!

Thanks for your time and help Duncan!

  • Amazing review. Keep up the good work!

  • @PhatH0tG33k Thanks!

  • OH NO!! I LOVE THE FUNCTION KEY! In my opinion, chrome OS needs a little more than just the browser. Maybe they should ad picture viewing, music playing ability, movie player, etc. Ya know what I mean? Thumbs up!

  • @wheely132 You actually can, if you view pictures it goes into a slideshow and there is a beta media player that lets you listen to music and watch video. No idea how it will look when they're done with Chrome OS though.

  • @duncan33303 Wow! I didn't know that! Well is there a possibility I could have chrome OS and windows on my laptop? When the full version of chrome OS comes out.

  • Great video, Chrome OS is awesome!!

  • I LOVE the look of it, but dislike the OS.

  • thumbs up if you can do all of this in just a normal netbook!

  • Nice Video bro!

  • @MultiAppStore Thanks!

  • Great video

  • Great video austin, are we any closer to know when it will come out?

  • @ITouchTutorialsHD Not really. After using Chrome OS for a couple weeks I'd say it's still beta, there are still bugs and glitches to be found before it's ready for sale.

  • @ITouchTutorialsHD my name is austin too

  • @Austin123433 Wow :D I actually quite like the name austin, Are you from the States to?
