  • Lovely song, cool movie, loved it since i was 14 when i rewatched it after not seeing it in long since i was 5 25 years ago when i watched it with my big brothers on video yet the violence shocked me as a kid. This movie is definitely like Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind only with graphic violence and predates Nausicaa and Fist of the North Star

  • @Johnlindsey289 I need to watch this again! Haven't seen it since college!!

  • Just lovely. And as relevant today as then. And if Wizards gets re-released, I am so THERE!!!

  • a great example of american animation, its too bad more people havent heard or seen this :-( i remember as a child catching this on some late night tv and being absolutely enchanted

  • @lordyam Did you know that they are thinking of remaking Wizards by the same director because it was such a hit around it's era? XD

  • I've been listening to Susan Anton for years - and have all her albums. This is definitely her voice.

  • This sounds nothing at all like Susan Anton and i'm pretty sure it's not her.

  • vivaldi0 - no, i know c9omposer/music dir-it WAS Susun

  • Ralph Bakshi + Wendy Pini = greatness!!!

  • Jesse Welles was the singer I believe, not susan anton..please correct me if i am wrong

  • Beautiful. Simply beautiful. I heard this as a kid and it has never left my mind. Nor will I ever let myself forget.

  • Thank you very much for sharing

  • at the risk of dating myself, I have loved this song since I first heard it in theaters back in '77, have owned the VHS for years and now I need to get the DVD, thanks so much for bringing life back to this wonderful song and in such great quality. Excellent work!!

  • Jesus!!!! What a Cracking "Unbelievable" Stereo Sound-Mix!!!!!!!!!! Who the christ you have done this????? I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Thank You So Much for this "Ultra Rare" Song!!!!!!!

  • Wow - thanks. After composing this score I tried to get Fox to release the song as a single (or at least try to put it up for an Academy nomination that year - to no avail. There was zero interest.) It is amazing to me that decades later anyone recalls it - but certainly I appreciate the lovely comments. Susan Anton was indeed the vocalist by the way. And again - thank you all so much.
