  • what are you running lift size and tires?

  • Thanks again for the support. Fyi, still have my rubi. 80k miles on it and a few replced axles and tranny, but still looks and runs great.

  • There's a cable. I don't get it.

  • @MutedThunder True that!

  • Sorry, should've been "IT would be nice to know what you've done to it."

  • You should put your Jeep's spec's in the description. I'd be nice to know what you've done to it. The tires are obvious. Nice climb. I have a 4 dr, don't know if it would make it over the top with the longer wheel base.

  • only thing i like bout jeeps is the short WB

  • you know how i know your lying? you say that there are hills in texas. jk nice climb.

  • gay

  • fake see the rope in front :)

  • Beautiful!

  • winch=fail

  • @cbr6864 if he was pulling himself up with the winch he would've been going a lot slower. It was most likely just there to eliminate the possibility of the Jeep doing a back flip.

  • shit! that was nice! greetings from venezuela!

  • Wow, it's been about three years since I first saw this video and people are still ragging about the winch cable? Who cares! Nice video my friend!

  • must b nice....

  • nice

  • dammm...!!!

  • nice hill ascend.

  • gotta love lockers

  • CON UN CABLE SUBE CUALQUIERA, JODER!!

  • @krishma91

its WINCH, if you cant spell winch, why are you even lookin at offroading vids?

  • Comment removed

  • @krishma91

your correct, it has absolutely nothing to do with the video. If you read previous comments, the WINCH line was only for safety purposes, it was not used in assistance of pulling the jeep up the embankment. Sooo, to deal with your ignorance, i corrected your spelling :)

  • @TheJeepWheeler okay, sorry i don't sit around and read comments all day. you could have nicely said that it was for safety purposes in the first place but because you had to go be a dick about, go fuck yourself. sorry i'm interested in jeeps and like to watch what they can do.

and by the way, i graduated with a 4.0 GPA and perfect grades and am currently in college to be a lawyer so you probably should think twice next time you call people names when you don't know them.

  • @krishma91

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

when did i call you a name? Saying that your ignorant is not name calling, it's simply a opinion of mine. Dont go gettin all pissy now. If it makes ya feel any better i apologize. I didnt realize you were a girl, or i would have been a bit nicer and not as straight forward. As for telling me to go fuck myself, grow up a bit. Your just like anyother youtube user that loses there temper for no reason. once again i apologize if i offended your intelligence. -Evan

  • Good Job to the driver (1) for the driving and (2) for the S A F E T Y . Always go climbing and mudding with someone it is the best way to keep our toys and keep the places to play with our toys!

  • land cruiser on the other side of that cable.

  • And even if some on was fulling him they would slide back toward him. Still no suspension flex.

  • U guys r idiots. The winch is there for support if he flips. He's not using or u would see way more suspension flex and sound from the winch motor.

  • @Stupidwild596 I hate stupid people like that

  • i respect that you titled the video what it actually was!

    Respect for this guy

  • @Risingcash I dont think I could even walk up that without falling lol.. gheese it must be a jeep thing.:)

  • There is a winch hooked up pulling it up. Look real close yes im sure the jeeps doin some of the work

  • 0:06 winch

  • Yo quiero un vehículo así. u_u

  • woops! TX =S sorry

  • The JK walks it like its just a litle tiny bump 5/5 !!!

  • Lets see a Hummer H3 do that as well

  • i did that with my 89 cherokee laredo bf goodrich all terrains with a 4 in lift

  • Comment removed

  • i have seen a winch cabel in front of the jeep

  • what are those tires called and how much lift?

  • i see you didnt have too much confidence in it cause you had a winch hooked up so it wouldnt tip over... which is cheating cause that helped you. but still god damn impressive for the most part a stock jeep

  • NICE

  • lets see him do that without that wire attached to the front of the jeep

bet he wont make it without that magic wire.

  • OlllllllO

  • Who cares about a cable. We all love our 4x4's. I would use a cable for my Samurai too just to prevent it from rolling over.. Nice Jeep btw, but i thought you did it without a cable until i saw the comments.. I thought like damn! =D

  • HEY! HEY! HEY! I SAW A CABLE YOU CHEATED! AND YOU KNOW IT! WAAAAA!

  • this doesnt deserve anything but thumbs up

  • he was winched up this hill...you can see the cable if you look closely

  • WOW.....Im a '07 Cherokee owner. Never thought i would like the Wranglers...Im now looking at the 4dr Sahara's

  • the power of a wrangler

  • HEY DAWG NICE VIDEO! KEEP UP WHEELLING MAN! I EJOY YOUR VIDS!

  • i would have used a spotter cable too.. hell.

  • You did a great job.......only the idiots take chances for no reason......you did the right thing by using spotters on that line just as a precaution.......only a fool would want to spend the next six months to a year rebuilding his nice jeep just because someone might call him a "sissy" for using a roll over line....I've been to Moab several times, 4wheeled all my adult life in Colo. & Moab....never tore my jeep or trucks up......but then I'm lazy....I like to 4 wheel more than work on them !!

  • And by the way....anyone who is familiar with the use of a winch knows that a winch doesn't rewind as fast as he was going when he went up then over.....no winch pulls that fast......(that I know of). it wouldn't have near the pulling power if it did, the gearing of the winch makes it move slower...!!!

  • @jhhwingnut you can hear a quad in the background pulling him dickshit

  • @my1little2pony You are definately an idiot....must be young and stupid like a few others I've seen out 4 wheeling, tearin chit up just to get a laugh from your "buddys".....you guys are the ones that cut trails and disrespect the few areas open to 4 wheeling......that line was put on that Jeep as insurance against a roll over....not to make sure he made it up & over, daaahhh "he was smart"....he wanted to drive it to work the next day, you would be trying to roll it back over on it's wheels.

  • @my1little2pony You must not much about "rock Crawlin" anyway......even in competion "crawlin" it is perfectly legal....and expected to use a spotter (his team mate)and that spotter has every rite to use a roll over rope/cable to assist in marginal obstacles......again...bet you never been to Moab or even do any 4 wheelin.....lol..!!!

  • @jhhwingnut perfectly legal to have a spotter i know that not so much a spotter on a quad the quad can pull a bit more then a man on the end of the rope can but its still a nice climb

  • @my1little2pony True its a nice climb......it's all for fun anyway......the reason I don't give to much credit to the Quad is because as I see it...it doesn't look like there's much pressure on the line.....and there doesn't look to be any front end "compression" that you normally get from being pulled in that configuration....I've winched myself out with the front wheels over a ledge just like that and there is a lot of pressure pulling the front end "down" , or in this case "into" the ledge .

  • @my1little2pony Ohhh by the way.....where did you ever come up with "dickshit".....lol.......it's "dip shit" clear your f.....ckin ears out....lol..!!!

  • there is a vable. but a winch wouldve been slower than this. plus you can hear the engine. winches are loud. probly just so it woulnt flip backwards. a guiding line.

  • what kind of rims are those!

  • Nice Yall.

  • No winch an pull that fast winches are geared down for tourque if a winch went that fast it would even move that thing plus if it was pulling it at a severe angle like that the front would be pulle too the ground plus that's some soft looking sand so if yah don't know then go for a ride in a rubicon and find out

  • you can see the cable!

  • wow amazing

  • thats def a winch while he is going up the hill you dont here him rev his engine at all i never seen any one just coast up a hill b4

  • tried something similar to this at the pharr pit in the rgv, shits cool as hell. jeep+rubicon=fun!!

  • ºIIIº Only in a Jeep

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats a fucking hill

  • yeah there is a winch line, and yes winches are slow, but the other vehicle is backing up hes not using the winch power to pull him up

  • Awesome video!

The cable pulling it up deters from it a bit, but fun just the same!

  • he was probably worried it would flip over, he went up it pretty fast and usually winches are slow

  • Comment removed

  • ..i never said there wasnt a cable

  • I have a a couple Jeeps and I'm not bashing on jeeps. They are definitely capable, but in this video, the jeep clearly had a winch line attached to it. First off you can see the winch line and second the jeep's front end would show alot more flex once its front wheels came over the top.. it was too tucked in not to have any pull..

  • also 4 seconds end you can see the ground get ruffled by the cable

  • true

  • Probably attached as safety so it doesnt flip backwards. Still awesome, and I dont think winch was used here, just a precaution.

  • @83ls realy i hate it when people get mad at u 4 using ur tools right its prob. the first video i seen using the winch every one else just goes balls out ans then they breake something this guy is kewl =3-

  • its going way faster than any winch ive ever seen

  • I see what you're saying, but also look in relation to where a cable would be attached which would be around oh, the t-case, and listen to the sound of the dirtbike, whick is more likely what you see.

  • at 4 seconds you can see dirt coming off the cable, and if your computer screen is good enough, pause the video and look and you'll see a cable after 6 seconds

  • yep

  • Bahahah!!! awesome! Rubicon Math here folks: 6 spdTranny+ Rocktrac+locking axles+Mud grapplers+little to no throttle=easily crawled squared! (steep incline 'X' + George Lucas special fx 'Z' does not equate ). Whereas "obvioulsy have not been outside of the classroom=Y, as in "Y waste my time responding to this?" and the answer: inconclusive. 'Jeeps up! Tops Down!

  • These guys just dont know what a jeep is capable of. either that or they havnt been wheeling long enough to know

  • nice jeep but totaly getting assistance going up that weather its a tow from a winch on another jeep or just a bunch of fellas acting as a counter weight to keep traction . at that angle theres not enough weight on the tires to pull you up over even on a solid course rock face it would be a hard task and that is a fact and any one in your jeep club would back me up on that it's just pure physics

  • i dont care about what a bunch of your ass ramming jeep club faggots say. Experience talks here not a bunch of city slicking "jeep club" members. Any fully locked TJ has the perfect wheelbase for that. Your talking out your ass here. Before you say anything about your gay little physics explanation, save it. Like i said experience talks!

  • expirance is only 30% having a well built jeep is the other 50% and knowing the terrain is the other 20%

  • no its not, I drive my TJ everywhere i go, it be the rubicon, moonrocks, or the local SVRA. i wheel the shit out of it with barely any right foot (experience). I drove a 86' 3/4 ton suburban over the same obstacle and did the same thing i did in my TJ. I succeeded. Believe me its alot more than 30% when it comes to knowing how to read the trail and the rigs capabilities.

  • Impressive. Good job keep it up.

  • towed

  • i think i saw a rope..

  • oh yeah, what winch pulls that fast that someone would mount on their jeep. lets be realistic. if he wasnt climbing, he was being towd, not winched.

  • dude he wasnt being towed or winched up that hill what so ever, no other outside force was hellping him. Thats a rubicon for ya

  • look close, there is definitely a winch cable. no 4 wheeled vehicle could do that without alot of speed or spinning it's tires at least a little.

  • haha that just goes to show how much you know about the capabilities of jeeps and four bys. Any rubicon with the right driver would be able to crawl right over that. You just dont know any better. PEOPLE EXCUSE THIS GUYS STUPIDITY!!!

  • OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!!! HOW GOD DAMN STUPID ARE YOU?? LOOK AT THE VID!! THERE IS A MOTHER FUCKING WINCH CABLE PULLING IT UP!!

I TRIED TO BE RESPECTFUL IN MY FIRST COMMENT. I DIDN'T CALL YOU STUPID FOR NOT SEEING THE CABLE, BUT NOOOO!! YOU'RE A FUCKING DUMB SACK OF SHIT!!! It's a sandy wall. It is IMPOSSIBLE for a 4 wheeled vehicle to climb without spinning it's tires A LITTLE BIT. I said a little!! Damn youtube faggots that think they know shit. 3 words. FUCKING WINCH CABLE.

  • haha dude your a fuckin joke. answer this: do you own a Jeep Wrangler?

if not i assumed so. you have probably never been wheeling in your life. If you notice that winch cable has no fuckin tension on it dipshit. second of all thiers no winch that can pull that fast idiot.

  • There are plenty of winches that can pull that fast. I have been wheeling. You admitted that there IS in fact a winch cable after trying to prove me wrong. All of your credibility is gone. Admit that you're wrong. If there's "no fuckin tension on it" it would be on the ground. It is in the air and taught. I never bad mouthed jeeps at all, you are the fuckin joke.

  • Lost all my credibility to who? YOU?!?!?!

Like i give A flying fuck what you think of me. message the saxstang, the maker of the video, ask him reatrd. then we'll see who's all mr know it all. yeah theres a winch cable, but do you hear the magnetos in it winding? He had a couple guys on the front end of it with the cable in case he started to roll backwards. obviously you dont know shit, or you'd know a fully locked wrangler is more than capable of making it up that

  • Thanks for the compliments and no thanks to the racist redneck. Stock Rubicons come with 4:10 axle gears with selectable air lockers and a 4:1 transfer case. I have upgraded the gears to 4:88's to compensate for the tires. It is a good middle ground for offroad and highway with an auto.

  • there electric lockers, not air ;)

  • @saxstang Nice video. For people who have never four wheeled this may look like nothing special. But when you are staring straight up at the sky in the drivers seat it is a whole different story. You made it look too easy. =)

  • @NowLifeStarts Just noticed the winch line. No wonder it looked so easy.

  • nigger rims ruin this whole thing

  • i agree, get some fuckin black steelies under that beast

  • safety strap or not, that took some balls for doing it your first time! Awesome video.

  • You can see the wires! lol. What are stock Rubicons geared at?

  • 4.10 axel, 4/1 transfer case

  • Once again, yes you do see the cable, because i had some friends pulling on it so I wouldn't roll. This was my first time climbing with this jeep and didn't know the limits yet.

  • who cares about the cable it is what it is

  • @saxstang That's smart man. No one should knock you for that! Keep on jeepin.

  • You really can see the cable ...

  • Five Stars

    Excelent !!!

  • nice try faggot

  • there was somebody pulling you.

  • haha awesome!!

  • 5STAR

  • 5 stars VERY GOOD !!!

  • number one, the climbing speed varies, number two, no winch pulls that fast.

  • You see a cable at 0:06.

  • yes, but that dosnt mean he is winching, it is probably a safty strap

  • funny thing is i know 6 winches that do.

  • No, its not that steep, I've sat right my CJ's rear bumper with no hand line, you have no chance of rolling there if you take it easy like that.

  • Now I know that, but this was my first wheeling trip in it just after I got it lifted. I ddin't have a pucker scale meter yet.

  • nice

  • I support ya brother! I got a hill close by that is about that steep and just a little longer I go up with my 04 Unlimited once or twice a month. Anyone accusing you of winching up that hill has little if any experience off-road. I agree with phillipinpc, no winch pulls that fast. Also, if you watch your front and rear tires you can see just a slight bit of wheel spin proving you powered up it.

  • If you would read before you post, you'd see that I already referenced that. It is allowed to have friends hold the winch line to make sure you don't roll backwards...but you wouldn't know that by playing with your computer all day. You should find out what your commenting on before you sound ingorant. You either like the video or not...simple as that.

  • well maybe he doesn't feel like reading 59 comments

  • Hey geek dun or whatever the fuck your name is....its only a few messages away. Do you peter piper his shit too or what. Your another poser. So grow a pair and stare straight at the the sky for a few seconds and see how tight your shit gets. Comment on somone elses vid...lates

  • man shut up. You wouldnt say that to my face, stop acting all tuff because your behind a computer screen. I hate ppl. like that, then in person they wont do anything. Well yea maybe he didn't fell like reading all of your comments to see that you replied to someone saying my friends were holding that line

  • Just like I thought. And to let you know, I hate people like that too. It wasn't 59 comments...just saying

  • do this again without the winch once please...

  • aint a winch in the world that pulls that fast

  • okay well, do this again without the car on the upper side, pulling once please.

  • A PTO winch will, but either way, if he had that kinda force on the front, the suspension would have been severely compressed.

  • Tenian que hacer

  • eran las llantas perfectas

  • I had a couple of big friends holding the line so I wouldn't go over. I had never climbed something so steep before and didn't know the limits

  • Cool video. did you have to use the winch to get up or was the winch line out just in case you might need it ?

  • nice jeep

  • beast

  • nice winch job

  • Thouse lockers work realy nice

  • ya but try movie a couch or nething for that matter with it lol

  • Thanks guys, this was just outside of Rio Grande City in Deep South Texas. Just about 5 minutes from the Mexico border.

  • JEEP

    O|||||||O

  • Grapplers really make it! I have 33 12.5 r 20s on my ram, best thing about it - trading in for an 06 rubi' and first mod, you guessed it, grapplers. They have 1 problem: too much confidence! btw, vids cool thumbs up!

  • yo, where was this?

  • read the info...

  • dude your user name is awesome

  • That's impressive !!

  • very nice

  • nice climb man nice climb.

  • big asss wheels

  • I dont see why people argue with Jeep....haha.

    love the vid btw.

    Jeep the only off-road Legend.

  • 2005

  • nice vid man, ive got an 05 sport

  • hey you have a really awsom jeep what year is it?

  • watch?v=2_1z8JSE63A

    it is better than this

  • Because the hummer is climbing a track that provides perfect traction? I don't see how that is any better than this...

  • nice kick ass

  • damn thats cool

  • holly shit

  • Damn, now i want a jeep

  • jeeps own!!!!

  • amazing!

  • and yeah you did make in look damn effortless lol

  • sick video man...awesome rims on that rubi

  • Purely Fascinating.

  • only in a jeep, or a mitsubishi pajero/montero, hahahaha

  • #1, No you haven't, I've what a Range Rover can do modified. Range Rover Sport, not a chance. #2, If your sole purpose on here is to talk about your 80k car with airbags than don't. I appreciate everyones taste in their own vehicles because thats what you should do, but don't post on MY video talking about something you didn't see. If I'm wrong, prove it. Let me see the vid. P.S, 2" of water on wet dirt like your page shows is not mudding. You can follow, but its gonna HURT.

  • Nice video....but you dont gotta be douche.
