  • where did you learn?

    also nice playing :)

  • cool..

  • yo that sounds straight out of that beach resort on ff7, sick man :D

  • "I need to add something else to it... like talent maybe hahaha"

dude all you need to do is add some improv...you got LOADSSSSS of talent

  • Awesome Tobias Classic dude ! I have a Tobias Basic 1991,six string. These basses a in a league of their own and way before their time.

  • Sounds great dude. Love it. Try dropping out the bass chords and playing those with your left hand and the top of the chord with your right. Really give for a cool sound :)

  • Love it.

  • i like this melody!

can u tell me, what chords u use?

    thanks

  • BRAZILIAN!!! ???

  • It's a common progression similar to Autumn Leaves, but obviously it's not that song. Just something I came up with along those lines.

  • haha my bass teacher just showed me the chords to that song

    soo much fun

  • brazalian song?

  • Awesome!!!

  • excellent oddly mellow for a "king of pain"

  • Nice bass you got :) What is it?

Good job on the playing, relaxing.

    Thumbs up!

  • Thanks!

It's a Tobias... Classic I think. I dropped an Aguilar preamp in it, gives it a punchier tone.

  • Thanks. It's a Tobias Classic 5 string with an Aguilar preamp.

  • @KingOfPain35

Hi! Is this a pre-Gibson Tobias? What was your opinion on the preamp that came with it? What Aguilar preamp did you install? Did you pair it up with the original Bartolini pickups, or did you install Aguilar pickups as well?

I'm asking because my Tobias 6 str (also Zebrawood), has a really dull sound, not only too trebly, but very weak. Was your bass originally like this? Usually a Tobias w. Bartolini pickups and active preamp equals killer and punchy tone, very much unlike mine.

  • You need to teach me how to do that!

  • It's easy, you just put all your fingers right there and then move 'em over there... and then there. Don't forget to breath.
