She is gorgeous!!! My favorite part was were you drove into the tunnel, seeing the amber glow of the lights wash over the interior, and hearing the sweet sound of her engine. Truly surreal....
Yeah great full coverage of the car but terrible steering control and hands on safety. It looked one point as if he was going to loose his grip of the wheel.
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree
i can remember seeing these advertised in car magazines in my youth that was some time ago :( ), i don`t recall seeing one in Australia though , very handsome looking car, any links to a road test, specifications etc?
awesome video, great passion, fantastic car..poor driving unfortunally..and it doesn t mean it isn t driven to the limit (not important at all..), it means just learn to use the steering wheel at least..you should be safer even going slow..and sorry for my bad english
some parts of the video was self made ! and others with a tall guy behind , if you know the car you can imagine it was not easy.... Most of the people like it , and it is a great satifaction, you can try to do the same with your own way to handle the steering wheel, we will all appreciate !!
@socca06 i can understand you perfectly, but it's not my own way..it's the only way to use a steering wheel..not an opinion..it'd be like running on the heels..you are slower and risk to fall down..

Watching your video is probably the closest I'll come to driving a Montreal, yet I now have a good feel for what the car is all about and what it's like to drive. You did a great job. Thanks.
Your Montreal is superb! It's a shame Alfa did'nt make this a permanent model. My uncle who lives in Germany has a yellow one, and it makes the most glorious music, just like yours. There is nothing like taking it on the autobahn! There are few cars that suck you into their vortex of speed like the Montreal. The Miura & the Daytona come to mind, the Montreal is a bargain compared to them! Italian cars feel so much more ALIVE than German or English cars.
its a beautiful sound no doubt BUT its not what i expected it to sound like!, I mean this 2.6L V8 is very similar to the 2.0L V8 found in the Alfa 33 Stradale and that sounds gorgeous!, almost like heaven!.
I was looking into putting this 2.6L V8 into a replica Porsche 550 that I was building as I had in mind that beautiful sound of the 33 stradale but now I guess I have to look elsewhere, anyone got any idea of other engines that don't cost a fortune but sound abit like the 33 Stradale?.
@AhmedNSX This engine was derived from the 2-litre V8 used in the 33 Stradale and in the Tipo 33 sports prototype racer. Thats why they sound so similar, good ears friend!
whats up with getting Montreal parts these days? I had a '73 (AR1428278, Blu Medio) for 10 years and by 1993 it was already a nitemare in USA just finding fuel filters ...
After watching this video countless times I still don't know what's up with those Elvis sunglasses and the leather gloves, but it sure is one of my favorite video's. Beautiful car, simply beautiful
I don't know wich language you speak i've seen so many your answers! i'm italian but I'll speak english.
Unfortunatedly my audio is broken, but we've got 2 alfa romeo montreal (an orange original first color "aragosta" and a blue one).
Check out if you want alfa romeo tz1 and tz2, those are the ones my grandad and my greatuncle use to pruduce i the Autodelta, together with chiti. awesome video, 5 stars and subscription!
Superbe! J ai un gtv 6 2.5 1984 et un jour si je dois m en separer ce sera pour un montreal. Celle ci est superbe tu as une des + belle voiture du monde.

Such a joy to see one of the most beautiful cars ever made! I admit it sounds fantastic despite the relatively small displacement.
I wish Europe made more muscle cars like this or other classic grand tourers... I can't think of any, other than the Montreal, some Jaguars, Astons (way above the muscle car price range, though), and the cheap pony cars like the Ford Capri. It's like we Europeans never had the muscle/GT cars that were in full bloom on the other side of the atlantic :(
Great video and fantastic car. Underated in my opinion. At least your one appears to be in very good condition. Good Montreals will make you smile and bad ones will leave you broken in all meanings of the word...
Your video just needs Matt Monroe's 'Days Like This' song from The Italian Job.
that tunnel looks like the one out of that old movie Le orchestre" ?? with the muira and the fiat AC coupe??? chasing each other.what a great car Fiat 124 sport coupes.

It sound great, but it sounds completely different from the 2.0 V8 of 33 Stradale, though it is derivated from that.
It sounds like an american engine.
