@ConnectedToMeNow ...No problem...I prefer coconut oil...I like it more than the other oils...well I should say my hair likes it! :) I started with olive and the castor but it was too heavy for me.

@ConnectedToMeNow ...I usually change my shower cap when the elastic wears out...sometimes that is as early as 3-4 days.

Hi I have been doing something similar not sure if they are the same. I pretty much oil my scalp and ends with castor oil mixed with Cayenne pepper and peppermint oil. Then wear shower cap and head tie. Is that okay? Or the correct method?

@tabbyshauna ...Hey...our methods are almost the same, except I do not put the oil on my scalp (hair only). I try to keep my scalp clean, it produces sebum so I do not worry about oiling it. Really, you can do it which ever way works better for you. I found that I get better growth results when I avoid build up on my scalp. The shower cap and head tie are ok too.
