i know red dwarf is a comedy but it really is an amazing sci fi programme too. dr who is probibly one of the best things on at the moment with its stories and ideas but red dwarf deffinatly matched up with the ideas and stories too. so inventive and great.

Rimmer goes into a mirror-universe to find the antidote, but when he comes, everybody has abandoned ship, leaving him to die on board. When death comes for him, Rimmer knees death in the crotch, says 'Sorry, not today mate', and that's the end.

There's quite a few Red Dwarf fans in the SF Bay Area. One of the local public channels around here would actually have a telethon to raise money to keep Red Dwarf on the air. One time, tney had the actors who play Lister and Kryten in the studio for the telethon. Two of my buddies introduced me to Red Dwarf. I was hooked!
