my friend hosted her baby shower at the best western in Florence,OR. it was in the conference hall with an awesome view of the beach. when i wasn't dodging toddlers or at the buffet table or playing baby shower games, i was taking pics of the beach with my camera phone.
Just look at that! A whole family of four, driving around in a regular car, not an SUV or mini-van, and without a DVD system in it to keep the kids entertained! How on earth did they all manage to fit in it, and drive anywhere without strangling each other or dying of boredom?
They did just that, for many families it was just as frustrating as it would be now. Kids aren't any different today than they were back then. Just where do you think the "ARE WE THERE YET ARE WE THERE YET ARE WE THERE YET" gag came from?
@OofusTwillip Books and looking out, playing some games and talking to each other. I've done this for the last two weeks in the USA and Canada, only that I've operated a camera and a GPS-Logger.
Same question is: How did our precious generation managed this all without internet?
