do you have any idea how much money people would have payed for those cases? Those were the best candles for consumers to buy back in the day! I was crying when you lit those all off! I can tell you that a single pack of 6 sold for 45$ on ebay not long ago!! Im sad

On a another note we have loads of those kinds of candles over here. the best ones are the crackling eggs w/crackle tail and the eggs eplode into smaller ones. You made me laugh when making it all together. its definately what i would do. and great idea on your ignition strategy!
dave have you ever been to the old home days in otto eldred pa they are this weekend the fireworks show is outstanding and it will be shot on saturday the 24 at dusk it would be a good show to tape and i talked to the guy doing it and he said it would be ok to film soory about the short notice is there a chance you could make it to the show he starts setting up on friday at 8 am with the morters

@qcages I do not know what exactly happened to him. But there are people in the hobby that are missing body parts. If they want to tell you that’s cool, but it may be best not to ask. Making flash has been known to damage a few folks. That is why if you make it, you make a little at a time.
Very Nice! That was really impressive for roman candles. I saw in some of your other videos about doing cases of romans together so I attempted to make a multi shot aerial out of it but never got to shoot it off during the fourth.
One of my favorite Effects. I know it sucks but I usually take the paper off the fuses too. Then i Spray the whole thing down with some Spray adhesive and just sprinkle BP or whatever over the ends. Gets you pretty much the same result, just another idea of how to get all them to light all at once. Great video Dave. I think I know how' I'm opening my show next year. :)
How fun is this?!!! I just happen to have 2 cases of candles I've been holding on too for years! They are the "pretty" kind though so that should make for a decent "sky puke"! Great Idea with the tape and BP! I usually use sticky match for my candle racks! The craft paper you used Guarantees it passes fire! Another Gem Dave! Thanks! Jim
