@91Roundhouse at 0.55, it's "Russian Requiem" by Boris Olshansky... the one after it (with the bear, strelets, and Red Army man is "Mother and Motherland... Equal in Glory".
Triumph's thunder louder, higher! Russian pride is running high! Russia's glory sparkles brighter! We have humbled Moslem might. Refrain: Hail to you for this, o Catherine - Gentle mother to us all! Danube's swiftly flowing waters Are at last in our firm hands; Caucasus respects our prowess, Russia rules Crimean lands. Turkish-Tatar hordes no longer May disturb our calm domain. Proud Selim won't be the stronger evermore, as Crescent wanes.
@pask54 Absolutley. Pride, strength, Faith, family, bravery. Now compares these values of the past with the values of today: Selfishness, Metrosexual, Apathy, Ignorance, Secularism, Materialism.
I know where I look to for inspiration in how I should live. The past.
Great music, with some good art. I believe this was considered the de-facto Russian national anthem during the reign of Ekaterina Vyelikaya. It is well deserving of this status as well.
If they even had such a concept, or such a concept had any legitimacy. I remember this from War and Peace however, and can easily remember the animated scenes at the dinner.

These are what real men look like!
Twenty-first century white men are a far cry
from the men in these beautiful paintings.
