I was there Dec 1 .It was awesome.Didnt get to see the Bashful Elephant formation though. They said that you had to take the ranger guide tour to see it
I was in Carlsbad Caverns around 1970 and the big room looks just as I remember it. Apparently they have opened up new tour areas that require autonomous lighting, they look like fun, if you don't mind getting dirty. The part of the lecture the source of hydrogen sulfide for carving out the caves goes a long way toward explaining why the calcium deposits are so well formed. I always thought it had to do with the age of the cave, very informative.
THIS IS THE RECORD OF THE FIRST MAN-MADE EARTHQUAKE.
I am not wrong. I challenge you all. With this so many lies fall.
Man-Made earthquakes… The U.S. account of the damage caused by Nikola Tesla in the first major earthquake made by man is in this 1912 government paper, “The Earthquakes at Yakutat Bay, Alaska, in September, 1899.”
I was there in 1981 on a high school trip. I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt and it got pretty dang cool. It's probably the coolest thing I've ever seen and I would love to go again.
Hi, thanks for this great video. It give back a lot of memories to me. I/we have had a great time down in the caverns and up in front of the entrance watching the bats coming out.
That was so awesome! I needed to find somewhere to go on a virtual fieldtrip for my college science class assignment and now I know exactly where i am going. thanks.
