  • In french polynesia, with longline we can fish albacore about 35 kilos. I will post video about that early.

  • New Jersey had an insane albacore run this year.  I heard of dozens of fish in the 60lbs range with a 73lbs fish being caught last week. They were mixed in with big yellowfin and bigeye, wich is strange because when we rarley do find them they are small and mixed in with bluefin in cooler water. This year they were huge, as big as they get anywhere in the world and found in warm gulfstream water with yellowfin, bigeye and wahoo.

  • where did you catch the tuna ? I have never seen an albacore so big and I have done alot of fishing

  • @TheOldFisherman100 about 5years ago tuna this size r late in the year to come in most of time they r there but will not bite they let the little fish do the work then heip themselfs 2 all the injured bait thank u so much i look forward 2 talkin 2 usoon big 4

  • @TheOldFisherman100 Morro Bay would be my guess. The biggest I boated was about 45lbs out of san diego. I'm in the army so I think I might take leave this fall if they show up.
