  • I don't need drugs to enjoy this !

  • The feeling of Echoes.

  • Drugs are not needed for Pink Floyd to be beautiful... but goddamit they help. I am sober now. However on LSD Pink Floyd's music becomes so much more... so much more inspiring, beautiful, sublime.

  • Marijuana effect is all about///

  • Pink Floyd for Life<3

  • Comment removed

  • The wall was a great movie man

  • Why the fuck do you need drugs to listen to Floyd.

  • @TheTwelly Pink Floyd was invented to be listened with drugs

  • @TheTwelly you don't! But your be amazed at the enhancements!!

  • @TheTwelly some people haven't been high long enough to get it

  • @TheTwelly We don't "need" them to listen to Floyd and Floyd certainly doesn't "need" to be heard high. But c'mon, don't be such a drug hater. Some of them, without a doubt, do tend to enhance your appreciation to music... it's not necessary but it sure as fuck can help

  • @MasterJuancho But they have a temporary effect and they can damage your brain cells. You don't want to be a junkie all your life, do you?

  • @dayvenkirq I'm not a junkie. I smoke pot. And I don't mind if I do it all my life, to be honest (:

  • I literally just took a weed brownie and I'm gonna listen to this high as fucking balls. So excited.

  • Some comments on here makes me wonder what some idiots listen too.

Or why they even look at this page.

Havent they anything better to do? than critisce good music.

BETTER THEY LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND CRITISE THEMSELFS!!!

  • The sad part for us is not that the band is gone, rather that this many people listen but do not understand. Show's where society is at.

  • @MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAART That's what I'm saying, the best song on that album has to be We Don't Need No Education and Cash Register Noise.

  • epic trip

  • Great song. And owns a LOT to Syd. Opel is, of course, a good reference.

  • STOP BITCHING AND LISTEN TO THE MUSIC .

  • @adam74100 well this is a song that you dont bitch to , or about ... you just fucking listen and enjoy and thats it !

  • wow, I have no patience for Floyd. How boring and slow and uneventful their music was.

  • @sherhrtatk then why oh why click onto a pink floyd song, listen to it, knowing full well that you

don't like listening to them? I take it your more into the likes of Justin Bieber then?!.

  • @sherhrtatk if you dd not like pink floyd, you woudn't come here.

  • @Fugazimaan well then its awful impressive how they tripped little and still the psychedelic rock they wrote was right on target

  • @Fugazimaan yeah and lucy int he sky with diamonds is about his sons painting

  • We smile and smile

  • LSD

  • @gremby Yeah, I think thats what its about too. It just reminds me of this time me and a friend tripped back in 98.

  • @bwd81977 very,very,amazing

  • this sounds just like SYD baretts OPEL ! : )

  • Becues Uma Guma is a better album

  • this sounds to the last part of opel

  • this isnt that sad but it sounds good

  • That feeling of smoking a joint with your best friend by your ever faithful dog while this is playing.

    Namaste.

  • @Renaissanceish Namaste

  • I am a huge Syd Barrett fan, but I love Animals, sick album

  • @axp80 you like the final cut as well? thats amazing also

  • I love this album and the song I like the most is Green is the Colour!

  • i want to be the friend of whoever enjoys this song. and drink some wine... maybe smoke some marij or not even and just sit in a magical field

  • I agree! Syd Roger Barrett, Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright, and Nick Mason are gods.... Of music :)

  • Allways loved the More album by the Pink Floyd (and its cover.) Been a long long time since Ive listened to it. Thanks for posting to all who did so. And after all these 30 plus years of knowing this album Ive never seen the movie for which it was made. Some day perhaps.

  • Am I the only person who thinks the riff from 1:12 to 1:16 sounds like the riff from Fearless?

  • pink starburst is a BABE!

  • ooooooooooh good , yeah

  • sborrroooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    best album ever

  • Who could imagine there is a Hubert Laws album named after and containing this very (underrated) song, along with Cymbaline and recorded this very same year, 1969?!!!

  • love

  • More and Animals are my favorite Floyd albums. Wore out a couple of needles listening to those two.

  • because...... the beatles.....similar

  • @luisfigu Beatles = overrated. Obviously they're really good, but why so many people worship them is beyond me. And please, no one feed me how they were such a big influence, and blah blah blah.

  • @arindeardorff The Beatles aren't the best band in history for sure. But the greatest. That's somehow different. Their big influence (not only in music, but also in everyday life) made them Great. They were the most popular human beings I guess. But for my, the best band/musician in history is Pink Floyd. Geniuses would be a silly word, they were Gods of music.

  • progressive!

  • this takes me back to the time before wish you were were on the dark side of the wall and corporate rock

  • fantástico... alex rockdriguez

  • I haven't heard this song in soooo long.

  • there is sooooo much floyd beyond THE WALL. do ur homework kiddies

  • @TimmyFeathers Indeed, Ive always found The Wall to be the most unFloydish album. After Animals...well...really why bother.?

  • @2tuque2 the wall is the ending of what was a wonderful fucking band.....all good things run their course. eh, life

  • @2tuque2

Animals is such a sick album though, i hope you aren't saying it's not

though you are entitled to your opinion.

I agree about the wall though, pretty bad album imo. I love animals though, and More. Have the entire collection on vinyl

  • @TimmyFeathers Agreed. I don't see why people like The Wall so much! What good songs does it even have? Maybe three or four, tops? And it's a freaking DOUBLE ALBUM. Take Wish You Were Here, or Dark Side... those albums are gold from start to finish.

  • @lughlongarm76 now yah see, Feathers made an awesome point and I hit like, but this statement is an exaggeration. while ppl like us treasure all of Floyd's work, and get sick of The Wall over time, let's not lose sight of the fact that The Wall is the most philosophically intricate, detailed, imaginative, and ambitious musical work Floyd ever produced, and in the history of music.

  • @rwfmade Definitely. Don't get me wrong, I love The Wall. A still from the movie is my desktop background right now, and I have the theatrical poster hanging on the wall of my living room. But I like it for the reason you named: it's philosophical (and psychological). Musically, though, the album as a whole doesn't compare to Floyd's earlier work. The story it tells is beautiful. So I'll be the first to say: the movie is far better than the album itself. Plus Scarfe's animation is sick.

  • @lughlongarm76 almost agree. i think the live show is really the culmination of it all. its a traveling art exhibit, and one of the best i've ever experienced in terms of full metaphorical context inside-out. the movie almost completes the vision. but if u haven't yet, plz c the most recent version of the show. there have been at least 3 different ones but Waters has truly culminated all the fullest meaning from existential to all the details in between.

  • i have this album in vynil :D

  • This songs makes me dream...and sleep. :D But when I hear it, I feel better, and the problems doesn't exist anymore. Love it.

  • thnak you song...I can be myself...

  • this album is the shit

  • I am going to listen to it over and over again for the next 3 days

  • Like a lullaby.

  • the bass line sounds slightly like comfortably numb. did anyone else think that?

  • All of Roger's bass lines sound slightly like all of Roger's other bass lines.

  • This is a perfect example of how "rock" music lost it's way. Nothin is timeless as Floyd, Hendrix, Zep, and Beatles anymore.

  • @Way2manydoses I know A LOT of bands way better than The Beatles from the last decade. Also, you didn´t mention King Crimson, what the hell!?

  • @InsomniumX Not agreeing with the beatles as a whole...late beatles was very very timeless, but I admit, there where alot of bands i left out, including Crimson, which i got to see some of the members play w/ tool...incredible man.

  • @InsomniumX ahhhh mgmt is a band to watch...true talent there for sure.

  • @InsomniumX I will have to say, The Beatles, while they weren't as instrumentally talented as most other bands of their time, it isn't the quality of what they did, it's the fact that they introduced so much to the mainstream (i.e. merging folk and pop, implementing Indian instruments and backwards recordings, and basically fathering psychedelic music) that make them probably the best band of all time. But, to each his own... Floyd Forever =)

  • @LSDylanmann not to mention, if was The Beatles' release of Sgt. Pepper that inspired PF to delve deeper into more long instrumental sessions such as in A Saucerful of Secrets.

  • @ehawkinstx Very correct! Who knows what would have happened if Floyd wasn't at Abbey Road working on Piper at the Gates of Dawn while Sgt. Pepper's was being recorded?!

  • @LSDylanmann Ok, that is a fairly good argument. Still, the title of Best Band of All Time should go to, well, those who did it best, not just those who did it first.

You should anyway give modern music a chance. Listen to, say, Trains by Porcupine Tree or Since we've been wrong by The Mars Volta, or Sweet Tides by Thievery Corporation.

Also, I'm not sure if I said this before, but your username is Awesome. Floyd Forever, good man : ).

  • "help me roll away the stone".... That stone would reappear in Dogs, and Hey You.

  • Damn, this album is entirly underrated and practically forgotten. I wonder why.

  • @xxxhentaikingxxx my guess is that Dark Side, WIshing U were here, Animals, and the Wall totally eclipse everything else.

  • @xxxhentaikingxxx Dont think so

  • @xxxhentaikingxxx because people are stupid now adays, and there too dum to notice the talent of pink floyd, am in gr8 and you dont know the shit that teens listen to.

  • @xxxhentaikingxxx because there's no dance video.

  • @xxxhentaikingxxx because most people are fools and only know dark side and the wall they never dig deep into floyds roots

  • @xxxhentaikingxxx probably because it pales in comparison to Dark Side, Wish you were here, animals, and the Wall. Not saying its not a good album, just not in their league, but thats only my opinion. dont matter when i listen to this album i just smile and smile

  • @xxxhentaikingxxx probably cuz li'l wayne didn't mention it during his 20 minute lip-sync concert.

  • @xxxhentaikingxxx This and Atom Heart Mother

  • @xxxhentaikingxxx what album is it???

  • @AngieAcidic soundtrack to the film more dude!

  • omg...wow

  • mystic and wonderful

  • Pink Floyd wrote "Dogs".

  • "laughter echoes in your eyes"

  • oh really?

  • @BrokenChair88 No they didnt
