where did u get the 5 way switch in the middle? also where do the tone knobs go?

p.s, i think EVH used aluminum foil to cover the places where the other tone knobs were.

That's pretty awesome dude. I did not know that was a switch in the middle pickup, the damn thing on the original is so rusted. My one question is did you REALLY get the action down that low with no buzzing? If I ever get around to building a guitar I would love to have low action like that.

Yep i used 000 fine steel wool to flatten it out and a quick coat or clear but if you left it and clear coated 25 times and buffed it they would disappear at least thats what i was told.

I have one on my EVH Wolfgang, who said i did not know what it is- its a drop D fast tuning on the Big E , I said it was not on a frankenstrat unless you put it on or buy a floyd with one . I never drop D anyway so I dont use . Cheers!!

what kind of pickup is that?also i might be doing my own evh finish or do a swirl finish(look it up its fair cool) and im kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place, i found a(ibanez) jem body and i know exactly what to do but...i have also found templates for an eddie van halen finish that comes with the 1971 quarter, the templates for where the stripes need to go also it has the rusted 3 way switch and then all i need is pickups,body/neck, and the paint and can i also have your opinion

oh i sprayed the pickup with red primer then sprayed black ,like just sprinkled on then a light clear coat, sorry i think i deleted your last post by mistake.
