  • da yout dem parliament, innit!

  • Although I am sure of the worthy purpose and message of this video, I must say that it was rather amateur and low-quality. Individuals are effected by the way information is presented and this video seems to have been done as a high-school level project when it was supposed to be a part of a serious campaign. Although its message is clear and very important, it is mundane, low quality and unprofessional, things that adults attack us for constantly. That is my honest comment.

  • lalalalala :D

  • Sorry it was typo... it was ment to say.

Are you not sick of being asked your opinion only to see little change? Young people i work with are sick to death of nothing changing. But its great to see people still upbeat.. keep it up...

  • i think its a great video.

its totally gets the point across and its reli funny.

the fact its funny makes it more memorable than some borin speech, so its a great idea!

    well done guyz :D

  • This is the most terrible video i have ever seen. it is annoying and doesn't even get the point. UKYP are you trying to give young peoplea bad name in politics this just makes us look immature. BRING BACK YOUNG CONSERVATIVES!!!!

  • Uh...no.

It does get the point across - expensive transport makes it difficult to socialise and get around.

In case you didn't know, UKYP are doing a great job. What's wrong with making a funny video to appeal to teenagers?? Instead of "giving us a bad name" it shows that while UKYP is willing and serious about doing things for us, it also knows how to get to the target audience. Unlike some politicians.

Mind you, I think the "BRING BACK YOUNG CONSERVATIVES" told me all I want to know.

  • I like the idea of UKYP, but it seriously needs to be changed. This does not target an audience of any kind, I am a 15 year old "teenager", but this is completely off putting extremely extremely immature. More effort and thought needs to be put in the video's. UKYP is there to show that not all teenagers are yobs but want to be treated like adults. So you should show that your mature and make good video's where the point of the video is clear and precise.

  • I'M not enforcing my political veiw by saying that the MYPs should have a certain political veiw, actually.

Most of the videos ARE mature, did you not SEE the debate?? And after reading the comments on Youtube, I would have to disagree with you. They do appeal to most teens. Also, I don't understand why you don't think the video doesn't get the point across. It does.

  • "UKYP is there to show that not all teenagers are yobs but want to be treated like adults."

Adults have a sense of humour as well, you know. And like pierslivejournal said in his post (which was good and I completely agree with you) it's not necessarily about being treated like adults, just more maturely.

    "I am a 15 year old "teenager"

That sounds like you don't believe that teenagers are teenagers. Please elaborate. I'm curious (not meant in a mean way or anything, by the way).

  • Lol Thats my best mate! Sarah your a proper bum! Lol Love you realyy! GO UKYP! xxx

  • Already there mate!

At first I was like EH....omg I miss the UKYP and DEVIL CHILD! lol.

Well done for the video...I'm just about to go to dream land though, and I've got an "I am bored" drone in my head...so I'll probably dream of it...I'll fill you in if I do! xxx

  • To help with the cause I now stop people on the street and sing the song on this video to them.

    Do I win a prize?

  • That can't be helping

  • They love it.

It's opening up whole new worlds.

How do I apply for X Factor? Lalalalala!

And what about my prize? What do you think is appropriate?

Although London has free transport for under 16s and under 18s in fulltime education I still think this is an important campaign!

  • Good to see!!! A very important issue, and the message at the end is really good, look forward to the next one!!! even concessionary fares are going up and upand i am personally affected as the student bus passes in manchester have gone up 3-4 pounds in the 3 years ive been at uni!! very well done, the la la la la la only slightly annoying...haha!

  • LOL! that was such a good vid to make! Lol what am i doing on the dancefloor! Jeeeez =D Lol xxx

  • Great idea, bus passes would give young people so many more opportunities (and stop us wasting all our time online haha)

  • gotta get me one of those

  • Seems like longer than 1:50 when you watch it. Good luck with the campaign.

  • Awesome! Enough people and this will get the department of transport to get Action taken.

London already has free transport. In Scotland where I live, the Scottish Youth Parliament campaigned on the creation of a national entitlement card for under 18s and volunteers under 25.

    It can be done!!!
