  • Great song.....I did not know that was Elise Neal....great call....

  • this is a great song! I really like their song day by day and night by night as well. Michael from this group is on myspace! He messaged me once and told me I was beautiful...that made my day!lol:)

  • Man I am OOOOLLLDD!!!! I remember this came out when I got to my first duty station in the Army!

And how about the rap solo? Don't he sound like "Chub-Rock"?!!

  • Lol,back then you couldnt tell me shit about a chick, lmao , now shit shits scrares!

    -StoicOne!

  • Lordy this jam takes me back... If only I could find a time machine! I really thought I would never see Video Vibrations again.

  • that was a CAPITAL JAM back in the day!

  • Who can name the song the ended before this :01-:03?

  • I don't remember that other version. It sucks. Water downed to the max. This one is worth remembering.

I liked this song alot back then.

  • whats interesting about the r&b of the mid to late 90's, there were so many acts and there was something for every palate. also rappers got alot of work due to the fact every r&b act had room for a rap verse

  • ELISE NEAL WAS A VIDEO GIRL.

  • ELISE NEAL WAS A VIDEO GIRL.

  • their 4rm LA?!? i seen the leimert park and crenshaw signs!!! crenshaw district in the house!!!!

  • wow i see alot of known actresses!!!

  • I use to come home...hit the room...break out the books...do the homework..and jam to joints like this on the radio. That's when the radio didn't play a song 100 times in a day!!!!!

  • Another one of those bands from my college days that I thought would be around forEVER...more talented than H-Town; more street cred than Boyz II Men; and they disappeared

  • love Portrait! they were so underrated, but one of the best singing groups of the '90's!

    love that harmonization!!

  • I miss this type of 90's R&B flavor. I wish they would bring this style back. The 90's r&b was better than the r&b that out now.

  • r&b has lost its rhythm and soul... 90-96 for me was the soul era

  • i agree =]

  • Only R&B I listem too thats best Soul ever for me is from 1983-1998, slowly until 2002.

Now its messed up big time, its getting worse.

  • I use to sing the hell out of this song. Yall know they talking about me. " Honey Dip" haha

  • Maybe it's just me but this video has a slightly neo soul feel to it. Portrait are definately one of my all time favourite groups of the 90's

  • definitely fire, and did yall check out elise, she was a little chubby back then

  • Of course they were talking about me! HahaHa

  • VIDEO VIBRATIONS!!!

  • VIDEO VIBRATIONS!!!!

  • Video Soul ft. Donnie Simpson lol..BET at its best!

  • zackly! once i saw the fonts on the name of the song, i was like damn, they took this straight from Video Vibrations with "the unseen DJ"!

  • YUP YUP!!!!!!! Video Vibrations on BET weekday afternoons used to be IT!!! I miss those days sooo much!!!!!

  • A clean, smooth, catchy song...

  • This was my song.

  • Southern and Grambling dayssssssssss!!!

  • Portrait was definately representing the smoothed-out, low-key early '90s R&B. I think I slept on them a bit back when they were out, but now I go back and listen to this song and to "Here We Go Again" and appreciate these songs so much now (defintely more than I did back then).

And "Honey Dip" is definitely an early-'90s phrase for a fine woman, lol.

  • I use to bump this in my ride at SU.

  • I still jam this song on a weekly basis. Gotta love Elise Neal in the video!

  • I think that was INTRO in the beginning. I could have these videos running all day.

  • Memories, I feel like booking, right now.

  • man i miss these niggaz......real fuckin talk.....every album was slammin.

  • From back in the day.

  • yep...elise neal, alright.

  • Who was the honey with the Halle Berry Cut She was FOOOOOIIIIIINNNNEEEE!!!!!!

  • Wow! This song brings back memories. I didn't know that there were 2 instrumental versions. I like this one better. Did I see Elise Neal from, "All of Us?

  • classic. props on the clip!

  • this song is hot right here
