I've been watching Dawson's Creek since 8 years now and I didn't notice they was so many information in the pilot, such as Pacey and Tamara, the mum love affair, Jane ... I thought it was later on. WoW Everything came quickly actually ! This is a very rich episode and one of the best of the show!

@Cileyonne Yes,absolutely;also it contains a lots of elements about the relationship between the caracters (argument between D and J,how Jen does her best to stay nice to Joey etc),their fear of growing up.The last image of J seing Dawson's mum with the lover shows how life becomes complicated growing up,it shows also how the caracters have to choose to say or hide the truth from each other;kind of reminds how Dawson later in the show reacts when he finds out about Joey's father still dealing
