This man is a GOD. IF you never heard the hole album. You need to get your ass off youtube and go onto Zune, Itunes or Amazon or where ever you buy your music from and download this album. Trust me this album is so awesome. The first song of the album "Lambada de Serpente" is the best part of the album. The fact that it gives you a very calm, sweet and smooth opening is very enjoyable.
The Album total play time for the album is 1 hour and trust me. That entire hour will be very enjoyable!

You haven't. You should actually listen to jazz, get involved and maybe play an instrument, go and listen to it live often and THEN you can come back and criticize it. @J4K31 this song has a fast tempo, lets say it was 170. these guys try and keep up with the tempo perfectly, and the drummer has the most work. improv is NOT an excuse for making up music. improv shows the musician's skill and it takes time to be good at it. you have to know the scale the song is in, keychanges, and especially the notes of the scale(s). so dont EVER talk shit about improv because im a musician that insults me a lot. coltrane would have sounded great in this band, if you think this is too much why dont you look up coltrane's later works like expression or interstellar space, and you'll know he definatly is not minding this, as for miles, miles changed his style like every friggin month, he was all about finding new territory, ever heard any of 'miles smiles'?? better yet how bout 'bitches brew'?? miles or coltrane would call these guys 'motherfuckers'...
