All in all, the 49ers as we know had a horrible game on Sunday. It happens.

Just because it happened, doesn't mean this team is suddenly garbage and has no talent, because that is not true.

I would love to be a fly on the wall when these guys go over film this week.

DBs - Spencer, Bly, Clements, Lewis are all better than what they showed on Sunday.

LBs - Aside from Willis and Haralson, there's also Lawson, Spikes and Brooks. This is probably the strongest unit.

WRs - Josh Morgan, Isaac Bruce. As old as Bruce is, he's still a good receiver. Too early to pass judgments about Michael Crabtree however.

TE - Davis is improving every week. Singletary was what he needed. Also don't forget about Delanie Walker good pass catcher.

OLine - Staley, Rachal, Heitmann, Baas, Snyder, all talented and getting better.

DLine - Justin Smith, nonstop motor. Gives it 100% every down.

QB - Biggest need. Hill isn't the best, but he's good enough as a temporary stopgap until a long term is found.

RB - Gore's biggest problem is health. Coffee isn't bad, he made his first start recently. Hard runner

No team is never either as good or as bad as they are usually touted by the NFL press.

Speaking as a Falcons fan that thorougly enjoyed that game,It's hard for me to see another team doing that to your team.The 9ers are simply a young team,alot like the Falcons,that are still learning what it means to play winning football(vide:Patriots game.)

That game was more about the amazing talent of that Falcon's offense,when it's totally in sync.

QB- hill is garbage and smith aint better

WR- bruce is too old and slow and morgan is still developing

TE- Davis = OVERRATED but getting better

RB- Coffee is garbage and Gore is inconsistant, he is getting worse every yr

defense

D-line = no pressure, garbage

LB'ers= outside willis and haralson they suck

DB's= nate clements sucks, spencer is okay, safetys are terrible.

damn man this game was tough to watch... everything that could have gone wrong did.... there was nothing positive that we can take from this game.. every time that we looked like we had a good play, our players would do something stupid like josh morgan slowing down before he got to the end zone and dre bly celebrating like he scored a tdwhen he's still in our side of the field... it was ridiculous man and props to atlanta cuz they never looked scared and punched us in the mouth pretty damn hard

As soon as Mike Singletary gets through breaking his foot off in his team's asses, the niners should be good to go. You guys will get gore back soon, so that should help your running game. I don't know about the qb position. Your team's best bet is to have a good running game and tell hill to not blow the game. Even though the birds torched your defense, in my opinion, the defense is still very talented. But you need to get on Bly's stupid ass! I can go on and on. Keep yall head up. Go Falcons!
