ok heres how it goes nero was about to die from agnus and we all know the sword yamato was vergils we know dante killed vergil but if the sword was his and hes a demon then he could use his soul to becom yamato and since neros got the devil arm so he can absorb demonic power and vergil is a demon and is contained within the sword and nero reincarnated the sword yamato and its his sword to use now so when he uses the devil trigger(dt) he posseses the power of yamato meaning verigls soul the end..

second his hand has the ability to absorb demonic power, vergil sword (yamato) has some of vergil demonic power which only makes sence if nero arm absorb vergil power which makes him use yamato. third the avatar in neros DT looks nothing like nero angelo.
