I used to go to the local titty bars, and I always drank "TONIC WATER!" Being as they had "black lights" in those places, my drink always glowed bright, and the gals came to me and stuffed their hooters in my face thinking I would give them more dollars.
Well the smell of silicone discusted me, but I always did get a stink finger when nobody was looking! :/
I painted my custom Harley with Phosforus powder, and once I "charged" it a black light bulb for 20 seconds it stayed put!
ok in theory, could you mix this stuff with a water base paint, then have a party, throw it all over people and the walls and have it glow in the dark vie black light illumination.
I know this sounds ridiculous but it's a serious question.
Basicly im wondering about 1)toxicity 2)washability (if thats a word) and 3) how practical this idea is.
Maybe send me a link about krylon, ill look it up myself too.
Krylon is a spray paint brand. Spray paint is paint in a can. first of all washing this off even in a water base would be a hassle. and If someone swallows this paint , that could result in poisoning. You can try looking some crayola non toxic glow in the dark paints, but washing would still be a program.
That stuff is weak compared to strontium aluminate. That's the old glow powders. I would get some and mix in your own paint and the glow will last 12 hrs and initial glow is insane and tapers off a LOT slower!! It also works well in molds with 2-ton epoxy.
Does it only glow in green?

Did you sand off the old paint, use primer, and clear coat?
jackysu123 1 month ago
@jackysu123 Yep, I used primer and clear coat.
