  • OHMYGOSH!!!! i never want to get that holy moly.....im fine with taking the pill or getting a shot

  • I just had it removed today and it was too dificult because it was encapsulated in tissue, the doctor had difficult to get it out..and left me with a scar and bruised arm,I don't recomend it,I regret of getting this.

  • i jsut had mine taken out today and a new one put in, it was NOT that easy, you had a good one:(

  • I'm 16 years old and got mine put in about a month ago... I had some mood swing and I was being very mean and wanted to sleep a lot. But besides that nothing has bothered me. I am sexually active and it's a really good decision. I had a great experience. My doc was super nice and gentle. (: but my family is military and we always get good service on base. It's something I would recommend for anyone!! But it just has different effects on different people. And when I got it put in the best thing

  • do you get put to sleep because i don't know if i can go through with this? im scared and i have to get mines out next week, smh!

  • I don't want mine out! Why did I get it?!

  • Getting this out tomorrow after 6 months!! Worst decision ever :/ So nervous now!

  • @HanghojLisa I have had mine in for 3 months and its turning me into a monster, i scream and shout at my children for the stupidest of reasons, get hot flushes, migraines, sore breasts, bleeding and cramping every day, sore joints and back ache, feeling down, unmotivated and just completly fed up. The bleeding has slowed down over the last week or so but its the mood swings that are concerning me, i don't want my wonderful children to hate me, doc suggested the pill on top to control the-

  • @missymother -bleeding but he said he had no idea if it would control the mood swings. So i have decided to have it taken out. My problem is contraception in general, lol Injection i bled all the time, pill got depressed and got pregnant, mirena iud made me ill and depressed and my body pushed out the copper coil after about 3weeks and i was pregnant again within 1 week of that happening. I guess we just don't mix

  • Im not getting one now...I hate injections and I had thought about getting this done. I cant stand needles. Nah. Nuu...

  • Oh god! I'm dreading mines getting taken out especially cause the implant made me gain weight and get stretch marks which are on my arms :/

  • O.O OMG!!! Why did I get one!! :~(

  • omg!! thats nothing compare to mine. I just had it removed yesterday it was terrible!!! the doctor cut my skin 2 spots, and now I've got a couple of scars and stiches -_-"

  • LOL im about to like get mine out soon...IM SO NERVOUS .... watching dis realli gives me the chills all over LOL

  • just got mine out, didnt really hurt besides the anaesthetic. Took about 5 mins

  • I'm sorry, but that doctor seems like he's having a bit of trouble! Absolutely, dreading having mine out now!!!!

  • This does look pretty painful - to be honest I have a couple of years to wait thank goodness! The needle was the pain more than anything and the pulling and pushing was uncomfortable - and I was a bit of a loner. Definately not wanting to look when it comes out - looks horrible and painful, even though people say it doesn't hurt - so hope they're true!

  • I'm getting it implanted tomorrow. Yup, good and terrified.

  • OMG IM Get that done on friday arrr

  • oh gosh that's horrible to look...

  • But it didn't hurt at all

  • I still remember after I had my daughter a Year ago on Christmas Eve the only thing the nurses said to me was don't look omg.! That was horrible to look at now.!

  • am getting that done tomorra :O deffo not looking foeward to that!!!!!

  • That is horrific! just the last bit anyway.... not looking forward to that!

  • I've had it in, and took out, the worst part is the needle! all you feel is prodding and poking, doesnt hurt at all! :)

  • look painfull

  • Comment removed

  • Had my implant today didnt feel a thing but now I'm kinda scared to have it taken out... :L is it Always this bad having it out? :L xx

  • I am getting mine out tomorrow.. Looks scary and hard..

  • i'm thinking about getting mine out i don't bleed a lot but when i bleed it's never the same time i have put on a lot of weight even tho i hardly eat :\ would love to be a size 8 agine :L!

  • I had mine taken out yesterday and it was much simpler than this. It was quicker coming out than having it put in

  • I am now scared to get it out haha it looks gross. But I know it wont hurt because the anesthetic they used to put it in I didnt feel a thing.

  • I am now scared to get it out haha it looks gross. But I know it wont hurt because the anesthetic they used to put it in I didnt feel a thing.

  • I meant to say " I would never get this" lol

  • @TheLexijenx It is actually not that bad. I have it for 2 years now, I am just changing it up because I have PCOS and I would like to monitor my cycles because with this implant i didnt have a cycle for 2 years. Other than that no side effects for me.

  • Birth control is becoming ridiculously. I would never regret this. I think I would stick to condoms & pills. I have Mirena which I love! I gained some weight with it but dieting is helping me lose the weight.

  • does it hurt getting it taken out?

  • I got mine out yesterday.....it was deep in my skin. There was no pain at all bc they numbed my skin. Once your skin is numb it just feels like someone is rubbing on your arm!!!

  • aah! I am getting mine out tomorrow, did it hurt when he was moving it around like that, I am so scared!

  • You're all idiots. They numb your arm so you can't feel anything. I got mine done today. It's more painful getting a filling in your tooth.

  • My Girlfriend "O MY GOD I WAN'T TO BE PUT TO SLEEP FOR THIS!!!"

  • getting mine removed soon becasue its given me the worst cramps of my life and switching to the injection, and after seeing this, all I can say is thank god they numb it!

  • What is an implant??????????????

  • @twoofheartsxxx Sops u getting preg for 3 years

  • @mattpowelluk1 Dang, I've never heard of this.

  • Respond to this video... *stops*

  • Shit!!! Im getting mine out tuesday :/ im sooo scareddd :(

  • Oh God!

I'm 14, and my parents are making me get this thing in a few months, and I'm totally scared! My sister is getting the Depo shot, but I figured this would be better. D: Y'know, I watched a video of someone getting it put in and it didn't look so bad, but this looks horrible, and I get sick just thinking about them doing that to me. Jesus.

  • @RenaRyuuguuRulez you should get the birth control patch. this and the shot can give you horrible side effects. I had the shot and it made me very sick. It was the same with my sisters implant. try to talk your parents into the pill or the patch

  • @MisuishiroKarasu8000 My sister got the depo shot a month ago or so, and she was fine. It didn't affect her at all.

I really wish I could, but they only gave us the choice of depo or implant :(

  • did it hurt? i wana get mine removed but looking at this video makes my toes go funny

  • ahhhhhhhh that looks terrible. :( iam scared to have mine out

  • Please HELP! I'm getting mine out on the 23rd of this month. I have gained so much weight I'm usually 118lbs pre baby weight. After I gave birth to my son(2/3/11) I was 163 I lost like 25lbs the first day. I got down to 137lbs(130lbs is the perfect weight for me) in no time.I got the impanol in April and I'm back to 160lbs. Does the weght just fall off once removed? Sometimes it seems more like water retention than mass weight. Please someone tell me what to expect on my weight recovery! :o)

  • @cynthiaross414

Have you lost the weight? I have gained 5 kg in 7 weeks!

  • So over birth control...tired of gettin diggin in and diggin out.....

  • I wish mine came out that quickly/easily D: 20 minutes

  • @TehBilliez Me too. 3 of them had to hold my arm down....bout 20-25 mins for removal...No more!!

  • DONT GET THE IMPLANT. It's horrible. :L

  • it doesn't hurt that much. I had mine out nearly 4 days ago now. It took less than 5 minutes to remove it. I got another one inserted afterwards though so i got a bit more bruising to look forward to. But no, when they remove it all you feel is the anaesthetic and then that's it. :)

  • Getting mine out in two weeks, as it has given me severe depression......not worth the trouble

  • i this for 4mos now i havnt had a period yet nor have i gained any weight, but i do think i have more mood swings than i did before.

  • and i've just turned into a hormonal bitch for the past year an a half because of it lol x

  • i'm getting mine out soon, and alot of people who i know who have had it taken out have lost weight because of the estrogen coming out of their body, does anyone else know of people loosing weight after it? Mainly i want my breasts smaller again!!! i was 36C when i had it put in, now i'm 36E!! so should my breasts go smaller again? i cant wait to have it out! PLEASE REPLY WOULD BE VERY GREATFUL xx

  • Well Robbie, you are in luck then.....It is not as bad as I thought it would be, so you are in luck for our child. Anyways, now all I do is gotta make the call to set it up of when I should come in.....even though I only had it for a couple months I think. You gotta do what you gotta do, hope afterwards I can get it put back in when our first child is in the picture. I do not think I had any side affects, but being very emotional of course. I credit all women who had this done,it is really good.

  • i am getting mine out , ive bled for 6 months striaght , i barely eat and ive gained 30 lbs , and i ant stand it .

  • DOes anyone know if it hurts getting it out, Cause i have it and i'm scared to get it out.

  • omg i got this last week and my arm still has a bruise from it.. the nurse from the Air Force hospital put the whole syringe of anesthetic in my arm and rubbed it then inserted the implant, and i can feel one edge of it poking out of my skin... almost like it went in diagonally.

  • the guy that did his was pretty fast

  • I HATE THIS BIRTH CONTROL. I bleed for 3 weeks straight. 2 days off. 4 more weeks of bleeding. It's killing my love life.

  • getting mine out in 2 days!! can't wait i hate it

  • im getting mine removed soon i gained 40 lbs sense i got it put in last year and when i get my period i pass huge blood clotts also my gyno found some lumps in my breast and said they could be caused from the hormone change of useing implanon im a single mom so its not like ill be haveing sex any time soon also im a full time college student so i dont have time for men i figure whats the point of putting my body through this if im single.

  • You know, I watch these videos and I keep seeing them just numb it and put the implant in. But I got mine today, and my Gyno used a Scalpel before he stuck the implant in. I can't say it was painful though because I didn't feel a thing. (except for the numbing which sucked SO bad.) I think that making and incision before putting the HUGE implant needle in made it easier to put the needle in? I don't know, but I'd like some answers.

  • In a bit less than 3 years i will b having this done to me, seems painfull but at least they numb u before hand!

  • fk this really looks crazy omg the stretching of the skin at the end looks painful i wouldnt get this i would rather deal with the mirena procedure

  • JEEZ!! almost faint just now lol

  • some people are really pussies that anestitic does not burn that bad stop trying to scare people. they numb ur arm of course its going to sting a lil bit. i get mine taken out .im ready lol

  • i really liked the implanon my cramps went away and i had short periods . i really recommend this . to bad my insurance doesn't cover it anymore i would get it again :/

  • WOW... your came out so easy!!!! Mine had at LEAST an inch insision and I am sore and mad that I watched this video and thought I would be lucky like you :) I am glad yours went well though!!!!

  • I am getting this soon. I am allergic to all forms of the pill and am not planning on having anymore children for quite a wile. Lets hope I don't have any of the bad side effects I've seen listed here!

  • wish I wouldn't of watched this. i have to get mine taken out next year. yikes.

  • Thank you for uploading was interested to know how they remove it, looks bit scary tho lol. [btw i have the implant, bleeding is so unpredictable!]

  • that looks horrific can they just chop my arm off? =S

  • i just got this put in the other day and now i'm dreading the day i have to get it removed.

can i just keep it in forever, that looks horrible and i'm a wimp :)

  • I am getting mine taken out in a few weeks, i have had it in 16 months and i have constant bleeding, feeeling sick, headaches and weight gain!! Which i hope will drop off. Looking forward to leading a normal life. Hopefully this might mean it's time for babies for me and my Husband! :) Defo not getting this again. Just stick with the pill i had no problems with that.!

  • Got mine taken out today. Gained two and a half stone in two months, bad stomach pain and my cramps that were already bad came back in the past few months. The woman who put it in took it out and it took 15 minutes! It affects everyone differently as it was the most painful thing I have ever experienced. Then again she put it in way too deep. But I was always told it wouldn't hurt getting it in and out, but I found out for myself that that wasn't the case for me lol. Ah well, just glad it's out.

  • i had mine in for 2 years but had it taken out cuz we want to try for a baby but i had all the brill effects of it never bled never gained weight and it came out within seconds and didnt bruise :)

  • @cezza2011 lucky you,lol!

  • @cezza2011 Did it hurt getting it taken out?

  • @cezza2011

ive had my implanon for 4 months and i absolutely hate it!!! i dont know if its too soon to take it out or should i wait a llittle longer for it to adjust to my body???? i really need a second opinion... anybody please reply!

  • @514ang I've had mine for a year and the first two months were HELL!! I was moody, I came on my period three times and i was nauseous. By the third month I was fine and my skin cleared up (issue before implanon). Give it time sweetie and you'll love it.

  • @cezza2011 Did it hurt during insertion and/or removal???

  • It's the anesthesia shot that hurts the most. after that its just a lot of tugging which is still uncomfortable.

  • i had my implant replaced 3 days ago and it only took 10 mins to take it out and replace with another but the healing process is taking so long and the wound is quite sore and painful even now 3 days on ..

  • @kymwales hey sorry to bother u i had mine inserted yesterday and my main concern is the weight gain, how had your experience been with it ?? cuz this is all new to me lol..

  • @kenia121807

hiya, when i had my first one put in i was worried about the weight gain too but within the first month i actually lost a stone. with this second one i havn't really noticed a difference wit weight gain really. but the mood swings with the second one is a little bit worse. iv had the second one in for about 2-3 weeks now and its all starting to settle down.

  • @kenia121807

i've had mine in for a little over 2 years, it will be coming out next march, not really much weight gain on my part, your experience with it might different with it. at first i had my period for three months straight, so i went to my pcp, they did a blood count, and i wasn't anemic so they left it in, it's 2 years past and i haven't had it since, minor cramps, but that's about it

  • gettin mine taken out TOMORROW! worst thing ever!! lol. periods have been 24 days long every-single-month since it was put in, in aug 2010. doesnt look like it hurt too bad to get it out, thank god for high pain tolerance!!!

  • @xSevenfoldxAngelx Really??? I haven't had a period since I got mine put in!!!

  • @vampire32289 yesssss; it was horrible! i guess i just had a different reaction than everyone else. finally got it removed today at 12:40 pm. they put me back on the pill {Femcon FE} & it made my period stop.

  • I'm getting this done and I'm a bit frightened. Does it hurt? What does it feel like? Will my arm be sore before and after when I get it implanted or taken out?

  • @Fluttering7Phalanges It doesnt really hurt at all its only really getting the needle that stings a little and having your arm up thats uncomfortable but it just feels like pushing on your arm, make sure you keep the bandage on for at least a day when you get it put in and taken out otherwise you can bruise pretty bad, mine only took a min or two to pop out but even then its just the needle and what feels like pushing! So glad mines out lol

  • i know this might be tmi but ive been my period since march of last year i hate this birthcontrol

  • phst, the implanon has made me reallly sick. i got a lung infection, an ear infection, i constantly have headaches and i cant stand for more than 30 minutes or my back will ache real bad, im gettin this thing out. ive been sick for 4 months and im tired of it

  • @possesedya400 I feel exactly the same!! I keep thinking I'm dieing and it feels like I have something new wrong with me every day! Nice to know I'm not alone though. I want this thing out pronto!

  • jesus........

  • im gonna get it and just watching the removal i want to faint. make me feel brave please!

  • @biancaflandes nope,i wont, because no matter how much of a whuzz you are, when you got it done you will be laughing at how scared you were!!lol.

it IS a piece of cake!

  • ouch!

  • i got mine taken out 2day he couldnt find it n then he did but took age for him to take it out coz the tissue grew around mine

i got a new one put bak in.

    did urs hurt after?

my arm is in pain wen i move it, think i might of needed stitches

  • mine took OVER AN HOUR to pull out, and it was really close to the skin. Worst hour of my life!

  • im getting mine out tomorrow, ive got the bleeding constantly side effect,as well as the less i eat,the more i gain. im sick of it,im just gonn have my husbands nuts chopped off

  • @gunmanzz After u got yours out did the weight gain stop and did u try anything else?

  • damn i just got mine removed like 3 days ago but it took like 20minutes to get it out haha your lucky it only took 2 minutes for you... it didn't hurt me either but it did feel like a weird horrible sensation whiles the woman was routing in my arm for 20minutes and pressing the muscle ect haha never again will i get this thing though... i didn't like it lol

  • @koaranomachisan i get u lol my first removal took about half an hour too....he didnt have to look for it tho but it was grown into the surrounding tissue ..he was holdin the implant (which was still attached to my arm)with tweezers, cutting away the tissue while chattin away with me...no pain but weirdest experience ever!!now THAT would have been a removal worth watching, haha!

  • @rawaiii Did it take a while for you to heal? I took two days off of work just in case. I remember getting it put in, the day after was the worst for pain. Just wondering. I'm getting mine out next Wednesday morning at 8am.

  • @rawaiii Did it take a while for you to heal from the removal? I took off two days of work just in case. I remember the day after the insertion was the worst part of it pain wise.

  • @alianna691998 no it didnt take long to heal at all!!

the wound is so tiny that you could almost compare it to the wound you have when you get blood taken.it might bruise and you keep a plaster/bandage on it for a couple of hours but its really not very inconvenient at all.

enjoy your 2 days off :P

  • @koaranomachisan mine was the same!! took ages, they struggled to get it out, blood was everywhere and and im all bruised and stitched up. so jealous of this lol x

  • i just had one and i defo dont wanna get it removed now

  • Man I got really sick watching this. I have tats and piercings, but I can't stomach that. Kudos to the women who can get this done.

  • omfg. that looks like it hurt like a mother F

    was there anaesthetic?

  • @0811232k 0:06 untill 0:14 ...thats the local anaesthetic...hurts less than a pinch! and after that you dont feel a thing anymore,so nope it didnt hurt at all lol....actually u can hear me laugh during the removal...

  • @rawaiii hah thanks. btw ur english is hell good :)

  • @0811232k haha,i hope so!! im irish!! ;) thanks tho!! :D

  • omg imma take out mines dis coming 25th after i watch this video i feel so scared awwww :(

  • ladys and gentlemen, if you're scared of the removal of a foreign object that has been planted in your body, please search here on youtube for the searchwords iraq and torture, you will find videos of people getting theyre fingers chopped off and arms broken and then please ask urself, how can i dare being afraid of being poked a little whole into my flesh^... have a nice day

  • Omg I didn't know this is how it was removed I have had mine in for 1 month now and I hate the things it's done too me was thinging getting it removed but kinda put off now :( omg

  • och

  • did it hurt?? i wud imagine it wud... im fixna get mine out n im reallly scareed

  • why was that pin inserted in the first place?

  • fat arms

  • @ugaugaarschface oh jeez im young, healthy and happy...but my arm looks fat on a vid .... what a sad misfortune i am!!!! why dont you send me a pic of you and well see how perfect you are?!

  • @ugaugaarschface you try getting this mofo. not only does it make you gain weight, it makes you bleed at random times, weird food craving, its horrible, so shut your mouth.

  • Thanks so much for posting this! I have had my implant for just shy of three years and I go in tomorrow to get it removed and replaced. This really helped my nerves lol

  • i had mine removed after 1 a month feeted in, because i had alot of acne on my face and my periods were very painful and long lasting, now i feel alot better without it.

  • This is why I will NEVER get an implant!

Your skin.... lifted all the way up... O_O

  • My doctor tried to remove mine, and could not get it out? she cutt at the top and triend then she cutt at the bottom and tried. I want it out of my arm but I am so scarred to go and try again, what should I do?

  • @kendral321 what did ur doc say,how to get it out?

  • she asked me if I wanted to come in again and have her try to remove it again. But I am so scared after the last time. I left her office like shaking and I was so scared.

  • @kendral321 sent u a pm!

  • Thanks everyone for all the support!! im not even nervous about it now :D

  • @Tahlz4life yvt tahlz! good to hear! :D

  • i recently got inplanon and i was wondering how affective u think it is? did it hurt worse getting it out or having it put back in?

  • @HayleyNerf95 Got my out today and it killed :( It was the anaesthetic it stung so much ! Owyy just talking about it makes me shiver , after that u feel movement but no pain :)

  • thanks for posting this.was wondering how it was taken out.i had mine put in only last week..i was scared and after i thought why dint i have it in ages ago.the numbing was stingy for a few seconds then that was it.had no problems or pain with it..but it just looks the same has when you have it put in.the cut does seem the same size also.i thought it would be a bigger and deeper cut to be honest.

  • Dear mother of god, they never told me how they were going to take it out when they put it in >,>

  • im 14 years old and im on the pill.. (my 4th month lol) and i was talking to my mum about getting this because i always forget my pill.... :S ut i watched it getting inserted and removed and now i am so nervous.... i dont think i want it anymore... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reply telling me about this... i am so nervous!! xoxo

  • @Tahlz4life ive had my implant in for nearly 3 years now. due to be taken out in january. its isnt painful at all. its a bit sore afterwards but thats to be expected. then u forget about it for 3 years. i dont think its painful getting it taken out. well i hope its not lol but i can garuntee u it isnt painful at all.

  • @Tahlz4life theres absolutely no need even to be nervous! both gettin it implanted and removed are completely painless...the most "painful" bit is the bruise u get after gettin it in lol..and u know how "much" a bruise hurts :P your arm will be numbed to you wont feel anything at all and it took about 2mins for me to have it put in and u see in de vid how "long" it took to have it removed..so instead of being nervous try to concentrate on not having to worry bout contraception for 3years,lol!!

  • @rawaiii mm well i am getting it in a few weeks.. i talked to my school nurse n she said all that hurts is getting the first needle cause its anesthetic... im not so nervous now and thanks for convincing me to get it :)

  • @Tahlz4life yvw tahlz!

  • @Tahlz4life well i have my tongue pierced and it didnt hurt that much... but yeah im getting an appointment in a few weeks... im so nervous... my school nurse said that the only painful part is the anesthetic...

  • @Tahlz4life I know people answered this for you, but I got my implanon in just today (I'm 20 by the way) and I can't even stress to you how completely PAINLESS this is. We're all used to injections and honestly.. that's the only slight sting. I was nervous but the doctor made the comment to just think about how people get worse pain with piercings in their tongues and faces. :) And it's true. Good luck with it!

  • @Tahlz4life i recently got implanon and i am too 14 years old...its actually really painless. just like rawaiii said the worse part is the bruise. with implanon u dont get the nausia like the pill you dont get mood swings. the worse thing i got was my temp raised a little. thats it. i recomend u to get it. it looks soooooo painful but actually the numbing is the worst part. its a little sting then its gone. ur arm will be stiff for a couple of hourse but thats normal. its easy and painless.

  • @HayleyNerf95 cool cool. :)

  • @HayleyNerf95 Yea wait till they have to remove it , i got mine done at your age , got it removed today(16 now) and i screamed like a fool. The anaesthtic stung so much , plus it took a while for him to get it out. Awful , won't be getting it again !

  • @Tahlz4life it is not bad at all i got it done and i love it i didnt feel a thing except the needle to numb it =] its the best!!

  • @Tahlz4life i have it! i haven't had it removed yet, and i'm a little nervous about when that time comes. however, i was so, so, so scared of getting it put in. i was literally shaking and crying a little when i was at the doctor's. but they gave me the local anesthetic, which numbed me right up. i didn't look because i was too scared. then after less than a minute, they said they were all done. i didn't even feel a thing! after the anesthetic wore off, my arm was pretty sore, but it got better
