  • @WolfGuy100 Well... maybe because an explosive charge is about to be ignited? If you don't cover your ears in time you will be deaf for a while....

  • sounds like a hella loud ford airbag

  • hey can you see the magnetic lines that appears just before the explosion

  • and thats why you dont climb up and get your kite

  • When monkey grips are simply not big enough - use C4....

  • There was a problem with the deadend on the tower. they use explosives for a lot of reasons: to fused things or in this case to remove the jumper. u can see the damaged equipment to the right of the deadend bells.

  • what did yall use for the exposive??

  • The explosion happened on 0:15.

  • Press 6 then 7 over and over XD

  • We still use the hydraulic crimps in the UK, I'd love to use this method and scare the shite out of the locals LOL!

  • thats called a quick weld using thermite and gun powder at high vloucty

  • Cameraman shat himself.

  • электрики развлекаются)

  • @KaRRiba1 Yes they do!

  • Yes they do!

  • "...I guess we should get some rubber gloves..." LOL

  • damn all this time i've been using pliers to crimp!

  • When a big set of crimpers just won't cut it, I'll keep this method in mind.

  • Looks like an explosion weld to me.

  • Impressive bang, but they are just splicing that jumper loop together.

    No accident.

  • ...damn; It's ALWAYS such great fun!

  • Holy hell

  • ...blast cable-weld.

  • pause at 0:15

  • How is this an Accident , looks like they were doing some type of maintenance.

  • This is not an electrical explosion, its the power company using explosives to splice their lines.

  • holy fuck!

  • What is that beeping?

  • @CycloneChilli the beeping is their safety warning to stand clear, they're getting ready to blow something up

  • ...a "dead-end" implosive(shaped-charge) cable-weld.

  • Looks lime dem squrrels chewd up the dern wire

  • the camera guy just shited his pants lol

  • They were using implosive sleeves for the 345 dead-end.

  • damn was there an m80 hidden? lol

  • They are setting a crimp with an explosive charge. It's not a short circuit or an accident of any sort.

  • @ki4hou That's how they install crimps? Damn.

  • @ki4hou But it does look like they may need to try again because of the damage.

  • @ki4hou obviously the title was a joke. he knows exactly what it was, but he made a title as a joke

  • @Dumbrarere you are really intelligent :3

  • That's not an electric short circuit; it's an explosion they used to work on the power lines. :)

  • @tall32guy yes! XD

  • @08Kutt Where's the short circuit? What planet are you on?

  • @KG84C i'm from a planet called: "The Title and description help your video earn more views" xD

  • @08Kutt Your madder than a clowns cock.

  • @tall32guy Exactly... I watch several of these implosion welds for the new lines at the nuclear plant I work at. They sound like cannon fire and are fun to watch.

  • @tall32guy isnt this how they weld the temporary circuit bypass so they can work on that section of line?

  • @Pimpmastahanhduece I have NO idea! LOL I know nothing about transmission line work or setup. I just know it's part of something they do in setting up a new line...

  • @tall32guy What are the explosions for?

  • @viperman5686 To do some kind of welding of the power line joints or some such.

  • Looks like "explosion welding".

  • Some how I think they knew that was going to happen so I doubt it was an accident. I have seen this done in person and it is freaking loud!

  • wow that was cool,,,,,,,, sounded like a giant firecracker ,,hey do you guys wear ear protection when your expecting a big bang from those lines?

thanks for posting your video because stephen said so
