@VideoBastard5150 actually, he shouldn't have drowned, because the water would have only filled to the porthole because air has to leave for water to enter and the whole building was watertight. and even if he had left the door open, he definitely would have had time to leave before it filled to the height of the porthole, especially since desmond had scuba gear. so the reason he drowned was probly because he thought that it would get claire and aaron off the island (which it did eventually)

In point of storytelling all those deaths were masterful - and heartbreaking, like Charlie's, shocking like Eko's and Michael's killings, dramatic when Saywer killing Cooper. Other than Saywer killing Tom Friendly: This one attuned me cheerful. ^^
