  • greek inginuity... simple as that.. when we had civilisation and ALL this the current west world was climbing trees.. we gave all the planet our lights and we stayed blind unfortunately...

  • @zavaroudikos Let's get some things straight...WE didn't do anything. THEY did. Unless you're 2500 years old.

  • @NatK1981 well WE didnt do anything BUT WE are their ancestors so this makes us PROUD! i guess you are from the current west world and your ancestors were climbing TREES so back off! :D

  • @zavaroudikos If the "west world" is Greece, then I am from that world. Σε Έλληνα μιλάς (όχι σε Ελληνάρα). Quit thinking you're superior because you HAPPEN to be Greek. If we were actually proud, then we wouldn't be a worthless shithole right now. The "western world" knows more about your history than you do. That makes THEM ancestors, not US. And, by the way, quit that stupid tree-climbing cliche. Its getting old...Learn to respect other people's history!

  • Screw Beats Audio Headphones ! I'm getting an ancient greek theater !

  • its the limestone seats....

  • guys in that place i heard a match lighting from about 100 meters

    i couldnt believe it!!!

  • Its not the limestone, its the mathematics used to to calculate the echo off the hard circular surfaces.

  • this is so cool. Thanks for uploading!

  • And *then*, please.

  • It's amazing!!!

  • The limestone seats act as acoustic traps. Ingenious...

  • that's crazy, wonder if it was an accident or they knew what they were doing

  • @tdubb3 Such a contrsuction could never been an accident....They studied the sounds and the echos for years...

  • Similar clap phenomena in a round domed barn.

  • i love the clapping demonstration! thats just WOW...

  • Great!

  • I just read and followed the link about this place, it's amazing

it seems that the secret is in the seats, made of limestone, that filters the background noises

    unbelievable!

  • Thanks! This gives a great idea on how audible speech and music were in the plays x

  • what does this mean?

  • it is definitely turkish but I have no idea what it means

  • its turkish meaning "great, no such a thing"

    strange really

i have no idea why there are so many 'y's

  • @VReijs this theater is so wide, that its almost unexplained how people who sits far away can here everything..but now the mystery is solved..
